Why do women allow circumcision? by
Mike Cox
Most circumcisions are still done without any pain relief! Why would
women allow their children to be circumcised? How would you feel as a
woman if some person cut off parts of your genitalia when you were a

If you were to compare the 'look' of a decent mon
(who meditate regularly) as compared to the 'look'
of a muslim mom. there is a great difference. Why?

OB Checkup & Ultrasound - 7 Weeks by
Crystal Dreamer
I had an ultrasound and checkup this week. One baby, with a heartbeat!
That was such a relief. I was incredibly nervous about it. Baby measured 6
weeks 6 days with a 130bpm heartbeat. I'll be considered high risk once
again due to previous unexplained stillbirth, hypertension, preterm labor
and...

Update: Low Blood Platelet Count by
Shelley
I went to the doctor yesterday. He told me that my first test (Dec 28)
came back with a blood platelet count of 132. The second test (Feb
4)came back at 94. He was a bit concerned that it had dropped that
much in a month and so sent me for more bloodwork yesterday (Feb 17)
and it came back at...

[email protected]
Hi,
I am a type II diabetic who has been induced at 39 weeks with my first
pg, and would have been induced at 39 weeks 3 days with my second
except we got me going at 39 weeks with a sweep and some castor oil to
avoid the scheduled hospital induction. Both times induction was
actually scheduled...

Anne Rogers
last night I had a strange dream, I had mental health issues, but the
setting was back at school when I didn't have mental health issues (other

All those principles I left behind by
Zaz
I was having a conversation with myself the other day (hey, I'm a good
listener) and I was pondering all those principles I have sent down the
drain since my pregnancy... I just thought I'd make a list. Feel free to add
yours!
1. Medicalised birth. I was totally against the very idea of it. And I...

It's a boy! by
NotMyRealName
Baby Andrew arrived at 11:39 at home this morning, Feb. 13. I was way off
on when he was going to arrive, but I was right about him being big. He is
9 lbs., 10 oz. (and that's after passing a *ton* of meconium, so they figure
I could add at least 2 oz. to it), 21", 14 1/2" head, 14" chest, light...

39 weeks 3 days and crazy by
DLS
I'm stumped on the progression of symptoms... I haven't gained any
weight for the last two weeks, and my last checkup my belly measurement
was .5 cm less than the one before - he said that was fine, it was
likely from her "dropping" a bit. Do lots of others experience no
weight change or a small...

Ow. by
Jenrose
Okay, these are getting uncomfortable. I'm still not calling it labor and
won't until I see fluid. But, ow. Cervix is flatter. Baby is lower. Still
say it means that baby will be here within a month. I'd be happier, though,
if that month did NOT mean spending the whole damn time feeling...
