Great site! by
tobemory
Hi! Just a quick introduction. I’m a mother of two with another on the way. I missed the stimulation of work whilst bringing up my two girls and started my own online business about 2 and a half years ago. I see a lot of forums due to the online nature of my business and liked the look of this...

THE GRUDGE
A film review by Steve Rhodes

poo in bed by
Marie
My daughter just turned two. For weeks now, when she wakes up in the
morning or from her nap (both are in her crib), if she's had a poo she
either takes her diaper off first and it gets all over, or she'll do
it in her diaper and then take it off. I end up cleaning the whole
bed, sheets, covers,...

Increase in head circumference by
firedancer623
I just returned from Xander's 12 month WBV and as the subject says - he had
a considerable increase in his head circumference - from the 50th% at 6 mos
to 90th% today. Personally, I always thought his head was on the large side,
even before his 6 month check up. I remember then asking the nurse if...

OT - Front-loading washing machine experiences? by
Cathy Weeks
Chris and I have so much stuff, that space is ALWAYS an issue, and
anything that will save us space is always appreciated. So when we
moved, and had to buy a new washer and dryer (the previous owners took
theirs with them) and deep freeze, we looked into buying a
frontloading washer/dryer that...

Bang on the door baby in USA? by
Donna Metler
My husband started something-we have several of the Bang on the Door
preschool books, and he suggested that it might be a good nursery design to
do the animals, since I really don't want to recycle nursery themes, but
want something relatively simple.
Well, that started us searching, and after...

Baby Signs Journals by
Derek Irwin
I was wondering if there are any parents out there who have written
down a list of their child's baby signs. I am in the midst of a study
on the subject from a linguistic perspective, and I was hoping to
complement the data taken from my own children with that of other
families who tried to use...

what age first live theatre/orch (kid oriented)? by
Karen
Have reached an agreement with ds1 that at age 4 1/2, he will stop
nursing. This will be around thanksgiving, when a lot of holiday/kid
oriented theatre and music events start for the season. I thought it
would be nice to take him to a "big boy" event, just him and mommy, to
celebrate/mark the...

OT - Question for those in cold climates by
Cathy Weeks
We just moved to Minnesota, and Kivi needs a new winter coat. I'm
trying to figure out if I should buy the matching snow pants/bibs or
not.
My experience living in Missouri and New Jersey, is that snowpants get
used 2 or 3 times per year, and are mostly a waste of money.
Your thoughts?
Cathy...

gday Barbara,
I think I have sent you an email but have got completely confused with

posting this to a newsgroup, I think this might be the only reliable way to
contact you. Therefore, if you are inclined to want to keep up...

SIngle mom of quads by
animzmirot
Did anyone see Oprah today? She had a single mother of quads on her show. It
was pretty hard to watch this woman, who apparently had family who
disapproved of her choice to be a SMBC in the first place, and then to have
all 4 babies. Her father wanted her to give them up for adoption, her...
