Kids and bigger cars by

DH and I drive cars. No SUV. At what point of time with two kids did
you feel that you don't have enough trunk space/storage and you need
an SUV or a minivan? I want to avoid buying a bigger vehicle for many
reasons. With only one kid, if we put stroller in the trunk, there's
barely any space for...

Like me, my kids are very fair. I am going to take over sunscreen duty since
my DH does not understand how, really where, it needs to be applied. Which
is EVERYWHERE. For us light folks, that includes eye lids, ears, head
despite hair, underside of feet. Even if they are wearing hats, the sun...

Used infant/child carseats - what the heck to do with them? by
Banty
OK, so we're not supposed to *take* used car seats, so I think it's not
responsible to give away used car seats, but then, what to do with them? I'm
clearing stuff out of my house, but I'd hate to put three perfectly good hunks
of plastic and foam and fabric into a landfill.
What do we do with...

b-day party ettiquette by

DS was invited to a party at one of those indoor bouce house venues. We'd
love to go, but I don't have daycare for DD at that time. I wonder if it
would be really poor ettiquette to ask if I could pay and take her along?
I normally wouldn't ask to take a child to a party s/he wasn't...

As the most recent step in the saga of trying to get my three-year-old

take a school bus there (hooray!) but the ride could be up to an hour
