a question (long) by
Kat
(I am 29 weeks) First off I wanted to say that my stomach has been hurting
uncomfortably (not unbearable) and really feels like the stomach muscles and
not the uterus. This may be gross but I have also been having loose BMs.
Do you think this is normal and OK? (I am going to go see my doctor...

Nice Arab-American Boy Names? by
Shelly
Taking the idea to post from an earlier post for Indian boy names...
We are looking for names that work well in Arabic and English and, while we
had no problem coming up with several names we liked for girls, we can't for
the life of us agree on a name for a boy. The names he has suggested...

Caroline, Middle Name by
Cineabeagle
Hi all. Any ideas for a middle name for Caroline? There has already been a
thread on this, but a lot of suggestions were for Rose, Grace, Ann, Marie, etc.
These are OK but I am hoping to find something else. Anyone care to throw a
name or two out?
Thanks,
Lee

Hospital Horror? by
Julia Mann
Over the last few weeks I have been to some antenatal excercise
classes and also had a hynotherapy session to help in labour.
Everything I have heard so far from practitioners and other mothers is
throwing into doubt the ability of midwives and the NHS hospital
system to be able to deal with the...

awful Backpain by
John & Sara
For the past few weeks I have been having terrible backpain. My

against the whole tailbone area (or something among those lines) my
baby is also posterior.
A few weeks ago I started getting these pains once in a while, in my
back....

Announcing the arrival of Madeline Claire

6 lbs, 4oz, 18.5 inches, and a mere 25 days before her due date!
I had my cerclage removed at 35 w 6 days, and was allowed to go off
Brethine. Still, the doc told me not to "try" and make labor happen,
since 37 weeks is what we were hoping...

Rocker or Bouncer? by
Julia Mann
My latest thing to buy is a baby chair of somekind. The main 2 types
seem to be rockers or bouncers so I was hoping for some advice from
people who have used them. The bouncers seem much cheaper and less
substantial. I have a car seat which can rock or be stationary so is
this similar to a rocker,...

interesting news report by
Anne Rogers
I heard on the radio this morning that it has been recommended that
c-sections for non medical reasons no longer be allowed. Only problem is I
can't find any news articles that back this up, maybe I dreamt it! I'm not
sure whether it was a general recommendation or one for the NHS, but I...

Cravings Question by
Mom2B
I seem to be going mad with Cravings for Almonds. Do you know if eating
these excessively will harm my baby? I haven't been eating peanuts although
as far as I'm aware there is no nut allergy in our family. I seem to eat a
pack of almonds a day!
Also... while we are on the topic of cravings .......

version and vbac? by
Liz S. Reynolds
So my impression was wrong, and the baby is still breech, now at 37
weeks. My dr talked to me about the possibilty of doing a version and gave
me the # of the high-risk dr at the hospital to call for a consultation.
He said that a previous section was a contra-indication, but if I wanted to
after...
