2-year-olds reading? by
[email protected]
Anyone else out there heard of "native reading"? I was interested in
starting to teach my oldest to read early, and was googling around and
found a website called nativereading.com. It has two chapters of a
book online where the author makes a pretty compelling argument that
kids should begin...

Perverts try to indoctrinate kids by

The homosexual activist group Stonewall has launched a campaign to
indoctrinate British schoolkids under the guise of combatting
"homophobic bullying"; for the truth about this perversion check out:

preschoolers and school buses by
Anonymama
As the most recent step in the saga of trying to get my three-year-old
into a good preschool for him, our school system is thinking of placing
him in a preschool that sounds great -- but there's a catch. He could
take a school bus there (hooray!) but the ride could be up to an hour
each way.

contradicting your spouse in front of your kids by

Hi everyone,
I know that one of the cardinal rules of parenting is that you
never contradict your spouse in front of your kids. But what
do you do when your spouse is being mean, or patently
unfair to your child? When, "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
doesn't work?
Here is what happened today:
