Why all the whining CP's? by
J
I was searching so old posts in alt.support.single-parents. It seems
some of these folks have the right things in mind. Every once in a
while some whining CP will come in and ask about how to collect child
support? The entitlement culture is strong among these people. Hate to
say this, but they are...

Letter writing campaign by
J
Would this be a good idea?
I could write a blanket tirade on faults of current CS guidelines,
email it to anyone who wants it, they could forward to their NCP
friends, and then the receiver is free to modify the letter, print it,
and send it to their representative.
Ideas?

Child Support for Self-Employed by
J
Is it possible for a self-employed individual to use the guidelines to
calculate CS on a per month basis? This seems to be the only way to
avoid arrears or paying too much, also prevents CP from using the
support to pay mortgage or car payment, therefore, it might be more
likely to go to the...

I'd like to at least know which agency she is getting this aid from.
This has been an ongoing thing with her for at least a decade. What

I need to locate a competent DNA Testing facility to perform a

How can we get CS reduced? by
Jaguar
Hi, My husband pays $1500 a month of CS for a daughter that is 2 years
old. She lives in Maine and we live in Texas. Is there anyway to get
this reduced without having to take a trip to Maine? How can we get
this down to a more reasonable amount?
