Incredibly CTTD by
badgirl
Ok, so my 12 YO daughter and I had made a gingerbread house over X-mas
break (with graham crackers) and we had set it on an old mirror I had
that made a nice base for it. Since then it has been moved, and
bumped, and banged and is now all the way broken down (not the mirror)
to just the last...

My 1st NIP comment by
Kari
Last night while I was at my daughter's Irish Step recital, another mother
saw me nursing Xander and came up to me and said "he nurses so well!" We
went on to talk about how he has always refused a bottle so it wasn't ever
an option for me to feed him EBM. She mentioned that's how her...

I've sprung a leak by
Lina
I think I sprung one seriously....
After almost two months of not leaking unless I was lazy and didn't roll
over at night, I've been leaking all day today!!!!
Is there any reason for this? Alena's not nursing more or less than
usual....

Breastfeeding with older children. by
shanihn
I have an 18 month old, and 1 month old twins. I have to nurse the
twins separately right now, and each nursing session takes around 1hr
(30 min. for each baby). My older son doesn't take well to this, and
I don't know how to keep him occupied (i.e.: keep him from trying to
hit the babies, etc.)...

Gassy Baby? by
Wrangler 4x4
My wife and I have a newborn (2-17). He is doing great with nursing so
far but seems to have a bit of a gas problem. He rarely sleeps
peacefully, because he is always squirming and grunting. He frequently
passes gas, but it is difficult to burp him. We probably change him
10-12 times a day. Is...

Beautiful Nursing Mother Commercial? by
Ed Kulis
Hi,
I remember a commercial maybe for Baby Formula that had a beautiful nursing
mother lying on a bed. It was wonderful to see the sensuality, the reason
for sex, family and love.
Any one remember the product? and anyone know where I might find the
commercial or an image from it.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhh...need sleep by
CY
I need some desperate help asap! For the past 3-4 nights DD (2 yo) has been
waking up about every 45 minutes all night long. We co-sleep (crib side car
arrangement) and she still nurses about every 4 hrs during the day plus
plenty of food. She naps fine (around 1.5 hrs). She's also been waking...

Hale's lookup / ingredient check for vitamins by
Barbara Warner
HI all,
I recently finished my last bottle of prenatal vitamins, and want to
continue to take a multi vitamin (while my toddlers are still nursing
reguylarly -- they nurse 3-4 times daily, and I pump 1-2 times daily,
too, for two, so that's a lot of milk).
DH picked up some new vitamins for me:...

Speaking of Sleep...OT by
Cadie
Maybe some of you can give me ... advice, I guess.
Aries goes to sleep on a good day around 9 or 10 PM. He'll usually
sleep until 10 or 11 in the morning (he wakes up probably a few times
to nurse... but I'm so tired I don't keep count). Then he'll take a
nap around 1-2, some days he'll take an...

Crossed the one-year mark! (long) by
Belphoebe
DS just turned one yesterday. I can hardly believe it's been a whole year
since this cute little person emerged from me. . . .
Long before I became pregnant, I knew that I wanted to breastfeed. As far
as I was concerned, this is how babies are fed. But also in my collection
of assumptions was...

Human Pacifier by
T Flynn
Okay, I know newborns really do crave contact, and I love holding my
daughter, but I also want her to get better sleep and let me go take a
shower or sleep without worrying about moving and waking her (we've been
co-sleeping *on a couch* most nights and we cosleep a nap in the bed
during the day.) ...

How soon can an infant can take long flights? by
ted
There's a strong possibility that my baby (edd sept) will have to fly
with me to Asia when I'm still on Maternity leave. I read on this ng
before that some of the ladies took their babies at 2months. So is two
months the earliest the baby can fly long distance? Are there any
other contingencies...

Does anybody have any good links about starting to introduce solids? The
twins are just over 5 months old now so I guess it's about time I got some

other day. Me and her are gonna...

OT Sleep times by
Mom2B
Are there any guidlines to how long babies should sleep for? I have a 10
week baby who sleeps for 15-18 hours a day. Is this about right?
Sometimes I have to rock my baby to sleep because I think he's over
stimulated and has started to get grisly.
A link to a site which gives me some guidlines on...
