It would be hard to imagine a worse time for the hefty layoffs
recently ordered at the Department of Children and Families. A year

Crying for no reason? by
Kim
One of my boys has started crying for no reason at different times
during the day. He'll be playing just fine, happy as a clam, and then
will just start crying - not a lot, just some whimpering. Then he'll
be fine again within a minute or so. He does it a lot when his
brother is playing with...

CTTD/CTTS - Helping by
DeliciousTruffles
The twins are in major "helping" mode. So I'm doing laundry today and
along comes Joshua wanting to help. I bring the basket and tell him he
can help by putting all the dry clothes into the basket from the dryer.
Katerina comes along and want to help as well. They empty that dryer
very...

CTTD: FOO! by
DeliciousTruffles
Joshua is sitting at one end of the living room and Katerina is running
to the other end where the toys are. She picks up a toy, puts it in her
mouth, runs over to Joshua, then spits it out at him, saying, "Foo!"
Then, she runs back for another toy. Joshua is laughing hysterically. :-D

CTTD: Today is bathroom-day by
Truffles
It seems they are driven to take ALL of their toys, bedding, and
anything else not nailed down to the bathroom. I have a HUGE pile of
stuff on the bathroom floor. So much so that I cannot see it anymore. :-D

CTTS by
Frisbee®
Last night one of our twins, Dylan, bumped the back of his hand on something
and scraped it as he was gathering up his stuffed animals for bed time.
Mommy got out some spray-on stuff, I think it was probably Solarcane, and
sprayed it on the back of his hand. His twin brother, Dustin, wanted...

CTTS by

Yesterday, we were talking to our kids about germs, and I started
talking about antibiotic medicine. Our son, Derek, smiled and said to
me, "Daddy, it sounded like you were saying anti-buttocks medicine!"

CTTS by
Seth Jackson
On Saturday mornings, my kids have a music class. This morning, they
were learning a song called "Squirrels Lullaby". The teacher was
holding up the book, which had a picture of five squirrels in a tree,
while pointing out the baby squirrels and the mommy squirrel. She
asked the class, "Where's...

CTTS - or is it PTTS? by
Seth Jackson
PTTS would stand for "Profound things they say".
I don't know how many of you are familiar with the card game "War",
but I was playing it with my 5-year old daughter today. Jokers were
wild, and our deck has three of them. She had just won a war
containing two of my aces, leaving her with all...

CTTS--the tooth fairy by
Cindy Senger
The tooth fairy made her first visit to our house on Monday night. Ashlyn now
only has 19 teeth to brush!! After A&A investigated to find the dollar that
the tooth fairy left, Ashlyn said, "I heard her walking around in the house
last night." Allyson said, "She wouldn't walk, she would fly." ...

CTTS: Gargling by
Leslie
Alex and Jordan recently learned how to gargle. Jordan forgot what it was
called and told Grandma he was "gobbling!" I thought it was so funny.

cute twin things by
Terri and Rob
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering what cute "bonding" things your twins/triplets do. Mine
smile and coo at each other, and their faces light up when they see each
other. When they are out in their double stroller, they hold hands. The
other day, Aimee, who always sucks her fingers, began to suck...

Dealing with death by
Andrea
Hi Everyone-
Last month our precious Lab died suddenly while the girls and I were in
Virginia visiting my parents. We are not really sure what happened to her. She
was almost 10 years old, which is kind of old for a Lab, but not ancient. DH
said that she stopped eating her food a couple days...

Decided on a new family car by
Andrea
You all may or may not remember me asking for new car suggestions a while back.
I ended up getting an '05 Sequoia. So far I'm enjoying it. When we brought the
car home Madison said "Mommy, did we steal this car?" Dh and I almost died
laughing. That's me, the hot wire Mama! :) I have talked to...

Delurking again to ask a question by
Leslie
It seems like lately I've barely had time to even keep up with the group, my
life has been so crazy. My mother, who lives with us, had a heart attack a
couple months ago. At the same time, the boys' grandpa (their dad's dad) was
killed in a car accident. Then of course there's all the spring work...

I just wanted to share. I took Jake to the dentist yesterday to get a filling.
He had a hole in his tooth from the way it was formed, no cavity yet, but they
wanted to fill it. So anyway, this is his second filling. He did awesome!!
He jumped right up on the chair and didn't cry one bit and...

At what age do kids start wearing deodorant? My girls are starting to have
body odor already! Is there a special young person's deodorant or
all-natural solution?
Thanks,

Di-Di fused placenta by
David Candler
Hi there,
I'm getting mixed info from my MD and my OB and the 2 u/s I have had so far.
I hope someone here can answer my questions....
U/S 1 showed a vivid "lambda sign" which the u/s tech said it meant they
were fraternal twins
U/S 2 showed (possibly due to an empty bladder & therefore an...

diaper changing problem...need advice! by

I am a new father of 3 week old twins and am loving every minute of it.
Well, every minute except diaper changes. It seems like my son's timing is
just right so everytime I change his diaper he pees and has a bm all over
the changing table. I can't believe my luck is so bad that I'm just in...
