Kat
Well, I went to the doctor today, just a normal check up. Anyway I talked
to him about my concerns dealing with preeclampsia and the symptoms I have
been having, and I definitely don't have it. Yeah! I was just being
paranoid!!!:-) Anyway, he said that I looked like I was in excellent
condition...

UPDATE From Spinal vs. Epidural- Announcement and Birth Story by
Valerie
Well Ladies, after posting my question about the c-section and the
spinal vs. epidural question (thanks for those who responded), it was
all for nothing.
I was scheduled to have my c-section on the 10th, and lo and behold,
my water broke on the 7th at 9:45 pm. Because I had eaten at 8 pm, I
was...

First Doctors appointment by
Angela
I just got done with my first doctors appointment though I saw the
clinic's lead nurse practitioner 3 weeks ago and I'm just about 14
weeks along. The doctor performed a complete vaginal exam and I
noticed a bit of pain along with it. I haven't had a vaginal in quite
a while but I don't remember...

Caroline--Middle Name, New Thread by
Cineabeagle
Just wanted to say thanks to all who posted with suggestions for a middle name.
I am having trouble finding the original thread and I think I might have
missed a few. I don't know why, but it has been really tough thinking of a
girls' name--believe it or not Caroline took months to come up with. ...

Pajama/sleepwear question by
Jill
Do you really actually need to purchase maternity sleepwear? Dumb question,
but I am on a tight budget and am wondering if I can just wear regular
pajamas sized up since I can get them on sale...how many sizes will I
probably have to go up at my largest?

Today was the first time in *ages* I've left my hospital happy. For the
military folks here they'll appreciate my happiness. I don't have to deal
with Tricare to make my appointments *and * I don't have to go to the OB
Dept!!
Step one is getting the pregnancy verified at the hospital lab. I...

John & Sara
My midwife told me I can start taking Evening Primrose Oil before she
strips my membranes on Tuesday. She said I can take 8 a day, of the
500 mg ones.
Ive heard from some that that is too much, and I have heard from some
that that is too little. I was wondering what everyones thoughts are
on that,...

Subject: Good Indian boy names?
Hi,
We are running out of time to find a name for our impending baby boy
and was wondering if we could get some help.
My wife is Indian (from India) and I am not. We are looking for a Indian boy's

I'm back again! by
Andrea
Hi all I went over to MKB after having my son, and am now back and pregnant
which is a shock, as DS is only 5 months old!
Yesterday I did a clear blue pregnancy test and got a positive result. It's
one of those tests with the cross. The pregnancy line was lighter, and the
leaflet says that's ok. ...

pregnancy and low free thyroxine anyone? by
Plumeria
You could stay with your midwife and just see an endo. about your thyroid (give copies of labs to the midwife).
The OB would do the same things the midwife would and the t4 being low doesn't make you "high risk," go with who you prefer/feel comfortable with. The midwife will tell you if you become...
