Home birth for me! by
Jeni Steers
Hello Everyone
I am so chuffed! Thanks Anne for your advice recently. It seems my hospital
has changed it's policy and I can now have my antibiotics given at home,
rathr than in hospital. They can also do it intra-muscular rather than in a
vein, which is great cos it took them forever to get it...

Question about GD by
NL
Hi!
I had my one hour test last week because one of my pee tests had glucose
in it. It went well and I'm within the normal range.
However. I took the test because my midwife told me: If I have GD the
babies glucose levels will "match" mine as long as she's inside and
while that's not perfect,...

16 weeks update by
beyond the pale
Yikes- my right hip is starting to go numb when I walk! It starts with an
icey, prickly feeling that goes from my hip to above my knee, on the right
side, only. It happened for the first time today after I had ridden in a car
for 45 minutes and then walked around for a couple of hours straight...

Hi by
LoveForChild
Please check out my blog: loveforchild.blogspot.com. This is a website
about my personal experiences on the road to becoming a first time
Mommy. It would be great to know other mommies to be and the ones who
already had their babies.

Treating yeast infections during pregnancy is critical by
Laura[_2_]
Yeast infection is a fairly common condition during pregnancy, because
of the hormonal changes involved. It can be a persistent condition, as
many of us have experienced. If your symptoms recur again and again
even after they have been treated successfully, it could be that the
infection never went...

gap between children by
Anne Rogers[_4_]
it comes up quite often and various people have said the evidence is the
optimal gap between birth and conception is 18-30 months, but I don't
think I ever looked up where this came from, so could someone provide a
link to studies, or whatever it was based on?
Cheers
Anne

trying for a girl by
happy
we're ttc and I'd really like a girl. Yes I know of course I'll love
whatever I get, but no harm in trying hey? Well from what I understand the
boy sperms are the super efficient ones but they don't last long whereas the
girl sperms are more durable so they can hang around. So basically if we...

Double stroller -- thoughts? by
Elle
My two kids are 2 years 4 months, and ten weeks old. I thought we
could get away with not getting a double stroller for a variety of
reasons (I use a wrap for the baby, toddler rarely rode anyway, of
course that was before baby got here!, etc) but I think I was wrong
and life would be a lot easier...
