Another poop question, sorry gross.... by
Karen
Last night DD has a bright green poop and it was mostly curdles. What could be
causing this? She is usually yellow to mustard colored with a few curdles.
Our company brought over these totally awesome oatmeal butterscotch cookies and
I admit being addicted to them, could this have...

7weeks nursing - I'm starving! by
teapot
Breastfeeding has not been the get thin magic I expected. I am as fat
as a hippo and hungry all the time. I feel like nothing ever fills me
up, and I am going for stuff like pasta and potatos that used to do
the trick. Moo is still feeding all the time but I have adjsuted my
attitude and just...

More tree nuts? by
Herself
Okay, does anyone know where there is a closer-to-definitive list on
what nuts to avoid while bf, if you are avoiding?
I've found a wonderful dark chocolate, but it has nutmeg in it. The
discussion tonight got around to if nutmeg was a tree nut...

bfing and allergy medicine by
Faye Tarzwell
I got this insect bite on the back of my knee and it is very swollen.
I have been using calamine lotion to keep the itchiness down but it is not
helping much and I don't know what allergy medicine I can take that won't
affect my bm or supply.
Any tips will be appreciated.

nursing constantly!!! oht by
Lina
Alena won't stop nursing. I'm getting about 15 minutes between each
session. Should I be worried that I don't have enough milk? Or is
everything normal and she'll be just fine after a little while.

Baby poop - food sensitivity problem? by
Chotii
Gwendolyn (1 week on Tuesday) has fairly normal yellow, curdled-looking
poops. But watery too - I'd almost call them diarrhea, because of the
wateryness (which may be seen as a circle soaked into the diaper around the
'curds'.). And invariably when we change her diaper, she poops *more*,
sometimes...

Thanks - Alternative feeding methods by
Cheryl S.
Rather than take up space with individual replies, I just wanted to
thank everyone for your information and experiences, and the links on
how to use the various feeding methods. It was all very helpful. Here
is what I've tentatively put for that bullet point in my birth plan:
· If any...

Which highchair do you have?
Where did you get it from?
What do you like about it?
What don't you like about it?
Would you recommend it to a friend?

Milk blister? by
Cathy
Hi all, I am still having problems, 2 1/2 weeks on from a plugged duct. I
thought things were finally getting back on track over the weekend, but now
I find I have a very tender nipple again. There is a white spot about 1 mm
x 1 mm just to one side of the nipple. Nursing is a bit painful, and...

3rd nursling, what's with this problem? by
Chotii
Gwendolyn got off to a fine nursing start, but her latch technique was
imperfect. I mean, I knew it hurt, and I could see by the next day that she
was making a red ridge of broken blood vessels across my nipple, and yes, I
knew how to fix that - get a deeper latch.
But then my milk came in, and oh...

Egg Allergy in newborn? by
JoAnna
I am not an allergic person so I am not too familiar with this area. My 5
week old DD has been sort of sick on 2 seperate occasions when I had eaten
eggs for breakfast. I don't know if I had eggs other days where she didn't
react but that's the one food that I know I had both times so I am...

I refuse to believe this is colic. I think Alena's hit a growth spurt. My
milk is flowing like a fast river right now and this monkey is so fussy I
barely get any sleep.
however everyone around me is saying that she's got colic and that I should
stop feeding her every time she cries. well,...

Pseudo-food allergies (bit of a rant) by
Elana
We've just come back from the doctor who gave us the results of P's
blood tests...according to that, he's had hits for milk, egg, wheat,
beef, pork, fish, tomato and potato. Milk and egg were the highest,
beef they think because of the relation to milk. Wheat the doc isn't
sure about...he thinks...
