booster seat for large 2yo?? Advice, please! by
Melania
My 28 mo is just over 38 inches tall and weighs 38 lbs. He's been
gaining about a lb a month for the past 4-5 months, and may well pass
the 40 lb mark in the next few months, at age 2.5.
He's currently in a Britax Roundabout, which goes up to 40 lbs.
Apparently, kids shouldn't be moved into a...

same as "bad attitude", but different by

I am having a very similar problem, but with a much younger child. My DS is
2.5
He was very polite and well mannered until his best friend was moved up to
the next class.
Now, there is only one little boy in his class that he is close in age with,
and quite frankly,
that little boy is mean and...

Plea for life saving treatment by
[email protected]
Please take a moment to read this. I realize that it may sound
strange, but we are desparate in our efforts and are willing to try
anything to help our dear sick friend. This costs absolutely nothing,
and will take about one minute of your time. This is not a hoax, as so
many of these emails...

URGENT: by
Rebecca
First of all, please pray for my family. I need to get as many people
as I can as fast as I can to tell me its ok to ask for help online for
my two disabled daughters. Many people think I am begging for money but
I'm not. I desperately need help with clothing, food, and medical
debts/gas to see...

I was going to show someone a website I found that had child seatbelt system
that incorporated a buckle that required a magnetic key to open them. It
used these keys on both the harness the child wore and in the straps that
went around the seat. (She has an autistic kid that seems to escaping)...

what you wish you knew (about toilet training) by
[email protected]
We are there! My toddler (2y 2mo) is consistently going peepee in the
potty chair. but she's not staying dry if I don't take her to the
toilet. I went ahead and bought the pullup diapers because she's
ripping off her regular diaper and wanting to use the potty chair all
the time. Her day care...

What do kids in America call adults in the neighbour houses? by
tired_mom
We recently had our neighbour come over to take a look at our fence
(since we are re-doing the fence and we share it with them)
(Until now, my 2.3 year old son had never talked to them, we saw him
outside rarely, and I told DS that, that is the man in that house. )
DS was happily running around...

Or that 1 in 33 children received aggressive sexual solicitations,
meaning that the child was threatened, asked to meet, was called

Supernanny! by
Chookie
Well, we hadn't watched it before, and we had fun. (For those who aren't in
Oz, it was a family with 4 kids living in a McMansion so big it was easy to
lose track of them, and the 3yo was a runner. Dad constantly undermined Mum's
attempts at discipline.)
At one point, DH turns to me and says, "I...
