Since it's in STYLE to put deadbeat dad's (or what some people claim
are deadbeat) on Pizza Boxes...aka...those who cannot/do not pay the
outrageous amounts of child support that a court has ordered...
I thought maybe a campaig should be started to put DEABEAT MOMS on

Need advice on possible move, closer to ex by
whatamess
As you have probably noticed, after 8 years, I am all but worn out of
the injustices on CS.
Currently, I support my son FULLY, thanks to the idiots at the CSE
office and the ex. My son is 5 1/2 and has speech delays, and we can
no longer afford to pay for doctors, etc...where we live as most...

something I can't really understand... by
whatamess
Since CPs claim that it costs SO MUCH MORE money to have an additional
child in the home...meals, electricity, insurance, mortgage, etc...How
do they make ends meet once the child support is over, at let's say
18? Do they all of a sudden go hungry or does the CP lose their house
since they can no...

Ex-wives on Larry King...did anyone watch it? by
whatamess
It was pretty disgusting...actually...Not sure how these women can
justify discussing this in front of the world, for their kids to
see...hmmm...Seems Donald Trump was NOT happy about his ex on this
show...Let's see if he does anything about it.
On another note, Texas now wants to charge...

something I read in a stepmom group-CS and insurance... by
whatamess
I used to belong to an SMOM group until I realized most of the women
in the group actually had their own children from previous marriages
and complained about anything relating to their ex's...but also
complained about their husband's ex's...
With that said, the latest complain from one just got...

CS, salary and which way to go? by
whatamess
We are trying to figure out the best way to go through a move...what
would you do, based on the fact that the morons at the CSE office
couldn't care less what your new income is, and they use "potential"
income instead...
Salary currently at 30K plus comissions...
1st year total income 65K

To pay child support and their wages garnished, etc...if they courts
cannot find the fathers. Yes, you heard that right.
There has been a special report this week on one of the news channels
about how horrendous the child support system here is, especiall to
non-custodial parents. Not only are...

I wonder if once they do find the mother she'll be made to pay child

I don't quite understand why anyone feels sorry for this "poor

Pending Bills in Texas Legislature Child Support and Custody by
whatamess
There are MANY child support/custody bills introduced this year in the
Texas Legislature. Many I don't agree with, but many which I do agree
with. I'm sure you'll do what's right and ensure that you send emails/
letters/or make phone calls to support those you feel should be
supported or tell to...

social security numbers of CPs stolen? what a shame...not by
whatamess
You see, my husband always paid directly to mother. Always on time.
Sometimes even 40USD extra per month...not much more, but at least
more. Then the ex gets angry because we move out of state...ah, you
see, NCPs choice is stay in the state and lose his job (he was told
ahead of time his job was...

"Voluntary" proof of paternity form? by
Werebat
My latest child was born on the 18th, and came home with us almost one
week ago after his stint in the NICU. We do not yet have a birth
certificate though, partly because of some hoo-hah with the State of
Rhode Island.
Since my partner and I are not married, we were told that we needed to
sign a...

An excellent argument in favor of cohabitation as opposed to marriage,
though it isn't trying to be one.

Duped Dads concept by
Werebat
I'm curious... What if a married woman, whose husband earns maybe $20K
per year, has an affair with a "fabulously wealthy" gentleman who earns
over $100K.
There is a pregnancy, she gives birth, her husband is legally (in
many/most states) the "father".
Later, she divorces her husband and gets...

he never raped or molested her, she was coerced into testifying by her
mother after her parents divorced... And the courts are refusing to
consider setting...

Boy victims of statutory rape by
Werebat
Why do male victims of statutory rape (where the rapist gets pregnant
and bears a child) have only two options:
1. Pay child support to their rapist for 18+ years
or
2. Sue for custody of the child created by their rape, then being forced
to raise their rapist's child for 18+ years?

Why no specific provision for joint custody? by
Werebat
I'm reading more and more about how my state (RI) has "no specific
provision" for joint physical custody. It's very strange because
neither my ex nor myself is mentioned as the custodial parent on the
divorce decree. We asked for joint legal and physical custody.
I'm curious about this for a few...
