Update: Ocular Migraine by
New York Jen
So, I made plans with the same women I was supposed to see last week when I
had the ocular migraine and guess what...about an hour before I was supposed
to leave, same headache (only lights flashing in left instead of right eye).
These are the women from my infertility support group...we've been...

Nine-month Roundup! :) by
Belphoebe
Please forgive me for shamelessly copying teapot again! :)
DS turned nine months on Dec. 8--so now he's been on the "outside" about as
long as he was on the "inside." How's everyone at or around the nine-month
mark doing?
These days, DS's favorite obsession is standing. He started pulling up...

Breastfeeding with a cold by
Momof3
HI.
I was just wondering if I could pass my cold to my daughter
through my milk. She is 1 week old and seems to be getting
goopy eyes. I have been trying to get over a cold for about
2 weeks now.
Also does anyone know a quick fix for sore nipples, other
than Lanolin. I can't afford to get any...

Too much milk making baby cry...ideas & help please by
Kathy
For the past 2 weeks my daughter (almost 13 weeks old) has been crying
at my right breast. (I've posted about it before.) Today just to
switch things up, she's decided to cry at my left!
I think what I have is a semi-mild case of a combination of overactive
letdown and too much milk. I didn't...

my right breast by
Anne Rogers
I posted several times over the weekend with the ongoing saga of my
plugged duct and bleb, today it has returned, but no sign of a bleb, but
nothing I do can get it unplugged.
I can't think why this is happening, nothing has changed in our nursing
pattern, still on 5/6 times per day, plus usually...

Flu and breastfeeding. by
AlenasMom
Both Alena and I are out with the flu, but she's not eating too much right
now. She's really congested and it's hard for her to eat. So in between
lots of sleeping I'm pumping.
Should I pump and dump, or would this milk be okay to store?

Should I let left side dry up? by
Cheryl S.
DS has continued to strongly prefer my right side. This started a
little over three weeks ago. For four days, he wouldn't nurse on the
left at all. He was thoroughly checked out by the doctor at that time,
and no physical reason could be found. From there we've gotten to him
accepting the left...

Care and feeding of nipples by
Elaine
I'm currently 24ish weeks pregnant, and for the last month
or so I've noticed *things* appearing in my nipples. They're
yellow and hard and about the diameter of the wire used for
paperclips. I can pick them out, and it doesn't hurt, but
they come back. They seem to accumulate in the cracks...

baby straining too much? by
T
What can I do about my 1 month old son, who is breastfed and supplemented
with formula. He only poops once every 2 or 3 days and in between, spends
most of his time turning red/purble due to straining and pushing. he does
pass a lot of gas. The pushing and arching back and squirming makes it...

frequent night wakings & BBTing (x posted) by
ted
I started temping this month. So far I'm in cycle day 17 with no sight
of Ovulation and my OPK sticks all came out negative. Since my last
cycle was 43 days long I'm not surprised. My BBT chart looks like
Rocky Mountains.
How do frequent night wakings effect BBT? Is there a chance to get a
clear...

Nipple still hurts by
Melissa
I posted a few days ago about what turned out to be a bleb. I popped it and
have been slathering Lansinoh on the nipple for days (it also had a crack on
it) but it's still really, really sore. I didn't expect this to happen with
an eight month old.
Is there anything I should be doing to make it...

4 month checkup by
All4meUC
I took Koby for his 4 month visit today. I knew his weight was going to have
increased but I couldn't beleive he now weighs 19lbs. 6 oz.!! Everyone is
amazed at his size b/c I am very petite (and breastfeeding). I'm assuming his
weight gain will slow down a bit, especially when he starts...

A sad good bye. by
K-K ~Glass Boobs~
Yes I caved, I tried my best but my DD and DH didn't like the miserable
person I was becoming. I was told to let him stay at the breast along as he
wanted and that left me with 1 hour of nursing every 2 hours and I still had
to pop I'm off because he would not stop! My DD began to loathe me, and...
