the firsttime around? It's been 3 1/2 years since my c-section but my
doctor will not induce me for fear of the scar rupturing and creating
an emergency c-section. Now she will let me go a normal vaginal birth
but just will not...

pt 5, chaos hits and the birthplan gets tossed out... by
SuperEeyore
Apparently after hearing the comments from my family, it appears that
it is most definitely over the top to call them names during that hard
labor, lol. If anything, it gives me even more reason to celebrate
this birth! Not only did I maintain an amazing amount of control over
my body coping with...

pt 2 - Is it or isn’t it otherwise known as the beastly bed by
SuperEeyore
So they put me in a hospital gown and strap the stupid machine to me
to get a fetal tracing one. Their goal was 20 minutes of watching
Someone New’s heart rate with the bottom graph monitoring my
contractions. Keep in mind that there is a big difference in my labor
at this point between me walking...

breastmilk storage and feeding by
oregonchick
I plan on breastfeeding, but would like to also pump additional breastmilk
to have a supply for when I may have to leave baby at home with Dad or
someone else, or for other such situations. I was looking at the Medela
Advanced breastpump. I had a Pump in Style 8 yrs ago and loved it. But
perhaps...

too good to be true? Medela Breast Pumps by
oregonchick
www.breast-pumps.com currently is selling Medela Advanced breast pumps for
$230. The original Pump in Style is $190. Everywhere else I've seen them
for like $100 more.
They won't list the price on the website, citing Medela's distribution
policy which doesn't allow them to. However, I received...

I just completed this offer for a 60 gb photo ipod and it is awesome!
My friend got one from it and he is waving it in my face and taunting
me! Anyways, all you have to do is complete a promotion offer and
cancel it before the 30 days trial is up and then get 8 referrals. I
recommend doing the...

I've been trying to do a little research on my own, but I'm not coming up

37w update by
Emily
Hi folks,
This morning I decided to try walking DS to daycare (1.5 miles
roundtrip). I used to do this all the time but discovered
early in this pg that I could either do my walking or have
enough energy for the rest of the things I do in a day.
Well, not much else to do today, and sometimes...

possible ultrasound result for down syndrome by
Q-man
My wife had a blood test called "triple screen" and the result is
normal.
In between 19 and 20 weeks, she got a ultrasound and the result showed
that there is a bright spot on baby's heart.
Doctor recommends to have an "amnionic fluid test".
Coming september, she become 35 year old.

Monitor doppler thingy by
Mogget
I'd like to get one of those things for listening to my unborn baby.
Looking on ebay it seems there are two types - dopplers, and the other
ones that aren't dopplers :-P
Anyone have any opinion as to which is the better buy?

Help wanted for woman facing induction by

One of the blogs I follow on the Net - http://www.leerypolyp.blogs.com

the various non-medical methods of induction a fairly thorough try, with
no luck, and is imminently facing the prospect of a pitocin induction.
