bedtime routine by
Leann and Donald
Hi. I mostly lurk, but I have a question about bedtime routines. Right now
I read my 20month old b/g twins books together on my lap and then sing them
a song before putting them to bed. Do any of you read/sing separately, or
do you do it together? I'm feeling a little bad that my 3 1/2 year old...

OT--how old for music lessons? by
Middletree
Since I had no musical talent, this was not an issue for me, so I have
nothing to relate to. But my 2.5 year-old son is exhibiting remarkable
musical tendencies not seen in his twin sister. For example, when he
bangs on the piano, it usually makes some sense, has some sort of
order to it. And the...

scary then, funny now. by

Today, while I was at work, my wife Beth (I guess I'm supposed to say DW,
right?) took our boy (our twins turn 2 next Thursday) outside to put some
mail in the mailbox. Our girl, Abby, locked the door, from the inside. This
freaked Beth out, as she couldn't get to Abby, and was locked outside...

Benadryl for teething? by
Karen
Another question, this one should be a bit easier to respond to :)
I've had a few people tell me, including a nurse, to use Benadryl for
teething. I've been told both to rub it on the baby's gums, and also
to give them small amounts.
But other people, including a pharmacist, have never heard this...

First day of school.....sob :( by
Andrea
I thought I was doing pretty good this school year. I cried for a month before
Jordan & Madison started Mother's Morning Out 2 years ago, and cried for
several days before they started 2 year-old preschool last year. So I was
pretty proud of myself when I made it to today with no tears. I took...

Ensuring twins don't get mixed up? How? by
Rob & Terri Lenihan
Hi,
I'm new to the newsgroup, as my wife and I just had a set of twins on
Dec 22nd, both girls, Aimee Nicole (6 lb, 11 oz), and Kylie Melissa (6
lb 15 oz). We also have a 3 year old son, Colton Joseph (he was born 9

How do you decide? by
Andrea
This is the first year that I have had the option of putting my girls in a
different class, since their preschool has three 3 year-old classes. The
director called me to ask if I want them in the same class and I told her I do.
At the end of last school year I asked Jordan & Madison's teachers how...

18 month old Vocabulary by
KimandJuan
Hi...
What are you 18-24 month olds saying at this point? It seems like Alexis was
saying much more then the babies are at this age.
Emma says "wow wow" for a dog, Agua for water and, sheesh for cheese anytime
she sees a camera and daddy and mommy.
Aislyn says mama and cheese and nothing...
