Visitation Violators by
John Meyer
I've been thinking of doing something like this on one of my web sites,
but if somebody else has beaten me to it, let me know so I can support
work already done, but here it is:
Okay, we have the "deadbeat dads" posters, but nothing out there that we
can circulate on the opposite side. You know,...

How many of you have Pre-Nups? by
Adryenn Ashley
A recent study reveals that 70% of all marriages end due to financial
stress. Add to that crushing statistic that divorce has not only
become acceptable, but nearly inevitable! Why? Because we as a
society don't take the time to do the work up front to ensure lifelong
happiness. In fact, many...

A little bit of good news in this world by
John Meyer

One of the "big game" deadbeats decided to fight rather than roll over
and let the DA mount another trophy in his office.
You wonder if they are going to let him lower his child support amount
after the jagoff...

Sperm: The 'gift' that keeps on giving by
Chris
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7024930/
"'There's a 5-year-old child here,' Mirabelli said. 'Imagine how a child
feels when your father says he feels emotionally damaged by your birth.'"
The above statement is a classic case of argumentum ad misericordiam.
Doesn't surprise me coming from such a fool....

Guess what kiddies; you can't have your father back (at least, until
he's done his stint in the pen), but you can have an extra slice of
pepperoni, hold the anchovies

DNA warning by
Chris
WARNING! DNA evidence is now entered into a national database. What that
means is as soon as you submit DNA for a paternity test, your DNA will be
matched against the DNA records of all other children who have not yet been
assigned a father.
Moral of the story: It may be less financially damaging...

I wonder if once they do find the mother she'll be made to pay child

I don't quite understand why anyone feels sorry for this "poor

woman to state that he was the father against her will. Lovely people

Here's an idea that I hope will catch on (and from New York, no less!) by
John Meyer
http://www.legislativegazette.com/read_more.php?story=1987
The concept of a tax credit would be a big help for parents struggling
under a double taxation of regular taxes as well as child support (the
"children's tax").
It may be a small thing, but I think New York deserves kudos for this one.

Single fathers just as good (bad?) as single mothers by
Werebat
Check this out: Research that proves that fathers are just as good (bad)
at raising their kids as single mothers! The researcher seems like a
bit of a feminist lap-dog, almost like he was afraid of the dual
implications of his research, as he takes every opportunity to insinuate
that mothers...

how angry should I be about this..... by
just some guy
My daughters (7th & 9th grades) live with me in our home. Their mother
left to continue an affair that she had while I was traveling for work
in 2005. The girls had ring side seats to the affair since it was
carried on in our house (not to mention the marital bed).
Needless to say, this upset...

Overseas father does not pay support by

I am writing for my daughter. She is a Maryland resident currently
living in Italy and working for the American forces in support of the
Army base there. Similarly true for the father (Tennessee resident
living/working in Italy) of her 8 year old son. They were never
married, but paternity is not...

With the increasing demise of the "family" and the growing number of
children who evetually lose contact with the father for whatever
reason, perhaps there is something that can be of help. According to
some statistics that i have read, after the parents have seperated, 60
percent of fathers lose...
