active babies and breastfeeding by
Sara
Ollie's an astoundingly active baby -- he walks (runs!) all over the
place, and is generally full of beans. I know most nine-month-old
babies don't need more than breastmilk, and that solids are more for
educational and entertainment purposes. Is that true for very active
babies, as well? Since...

formula taste a threat?? by

Never heard that. All I've ever heard of as being a problem is the nipple
preference issue.

Nuvaring & Supply by
Andrea A. Phillips
The converation on hormonal birth control at 14 mos. has me wondering.
My situation is: On the mini-pill, DD is 14 months old, no periods yet (for
me, and of course for her, too ;). But I've had the odd bit of cramping and
almost unnoticable spotting, so I'm thinking ovulation may have returned....

plugged milk duct by
Jen
Hi All:
I exclusively brestfeeding my 7 weeks old DD since born. Past 2 week I
found that there are white spots on my nipple. A nurse told me that they
are casued by plugged milk duct.
Does anyone have a good way of clearing them? Will that cause infection if
I leave them there?
TIA

If you were moderately lactose intolerant (as lots of people seem to be),
could you drink your own breastmilk okay, or would it vary from person to

BF advice by
Ben
Hi,
We are expecting our second child soon. My wife had trouble
breastfeeding our son when he was born so he was formula fed. There were
many problems - my wife was anemic, the hospital screwed up the delivery
in more ways than one, she had an inverted nipple, she had no support in
the BF area,...
