VEs and dilation update ques. by
~gwyn
Delurking with a question. :-)
I am planning a HBAC next month after a c-section two years ago due to
"Failure to Progress" and "CPD", neither of which are diagnoses that I
agree with. I feel that I was interventioned into a section after a
poorly managed labor. So this time around I have a new...

Help with home pregnancy results by
Joseph Blow
Hello all,
I took two pregnancy tests this morning, and here is a picture of the
results I got:
http://michelle.someways.net/uploads/preg.jpg
The top one clearly shows a relatively faint line, so we bought a different
brand (the first may have been from the dollar store!) - the one shown on
the...

Not again!!! by
Donna Metler
DH is sick again-he commented last night that it might be too late for the
flu shot (although I haven't heard any respiratory symptoms). He's slept
through most of the last three days, which I assume is what he needs most (I
really think that between work and me being on bedrest, he's just...

Changing EDD by
Zaz
I've decided to change my estimated "deliverance" date. It was set for Nov.
20. I dreamt I was giving birth on Nov. 17. Then later there was some
questioning, but it officially remained on Nov. 20.
Well, now in week 34, I've decided I'm not going through with that plan.
From what I reckon, at Week...

Rash during last few weeks of pregnancy ?? by
Kevin
Hi all,
My wife's developed a rash over the past few days. It started off looking
like flared up stretch marks and her OB said it was just that. He
prescribed some steriods that we picked up last night but she is a little
concerned about taking them - apparently the side effects are really...

Food for thought by
Helen
I'd really like to compare foodie stories.
With a 3 yr old, I feed her the usual daily breakfast lunch and dinner plus
a few snacky things thrown in for good measure. I'd be interested in knowing
what and how much other children eat throughout the day.
I know exactly what I should be feeding her,...

Feeling fetal movement by
medgirl
I am 19 wks now (my first pregnancy), and I don't think I have felt the baby
move yet. What should I be feeling for? I've heard a fluttering feeling,
or even a gas-type feeling. I just wonder if maybe I have felt it already
and didn't know it yet. I'm interested as to what other people...

Does baby get addicted to caffeine? by
miss mandy
Hello,
Everything I've read says that moderate caffeine intake isn't harmful
to the fetus. But does the fetus get addicted? I'd hate to think
that my little peanut will get withdrawl headaches after (s)he's born.
I limit myself to one, occasionally two, cups of tea per day. But
it's enough to...

DD should be 23 months when the baby is born, if all goes according to plan.
I have tried to involve her in the pregnancy process as much as possible,
but she doesn't seem interested (which is totally understandable, I think
!). But I'm just starting to get concerned that she has no...

Parent Directed Feeding vs. AP/Feed on Demand? by
emilymr
Hi, everyone -- I've got a question about parenting/breastfeeding styles.
My MIL just gave us Ezzos' book which lays out a pretty rigorous
parent-directed feeding regime and promises a baby that will sleep through
the night by about 2 months. I know there are some pretty serious
objections to...
