small boy by
Anneleen
Hi you all!
I was wondering whether anyone here has some more experience about
kids small for their age.
I remarried and now have a 9th grade stepson.I
also have a 5th grade daughter of my own. I especially worry
about my stepson. He really is exceptionnally tiny and thin for a 9th
grader. He's...

Using family radios or walkie talkies in lieu of baby monitors by
Tripp Knightly
I recently purch'd 2 diff sets of baby monitors (both 49 & 900 Mhz).
Both were susceptible more than I liked to interference from, ie,
neighbor's babies (god bless 'em) and cordless phones.
Seems to me a better route to go might be to use family radios /
walkie talkies.
Key benefits would be:

childbirth without insurance by
1qa2ws
Hi,
I live in St. Louis (Mossouri). Do you know something about any
possibilities to birth a child without having any insurance? Maybe you know
if there is something similar to PCAp in NYC or MassHealth in MA in Missouri
state? We cannot buy any insuarce, becouse it is after conception.

Help--babysitting opinions needed by
Jeff
Not only would I not allow Belazair around Eva when she is with the baby; I
don't think I would allow Eva around the baby unless you are there. She
either has a lot of growing up to do or very poor judgement. Or both.

contact with TB by
daye
My daughter is 4 months, and we are looking for a babysitter. One lady came
to us. She told us she had TB 2 years ago, but now she's fully recovered.
Is that a threat to my baby's health? Thank you very much for any
information.

alepcia by

I have a teen girl with alepcia (hair loss). She's had it all her
life, and after taking her to doctors, they do not have a cure. It
didn't bother her while she was young, but now that she is ready to
date, it bothers her very much. Most of the boys have only seen her
with a wig on, and she's...

!PROBLEM--baby and STD's by
Chive mynd
I have seven month old baby girl.
My wife's best friend was diagnosed with genital herpes. Best friend babysits
once a week. Best friend isn't the brightest bulb. Is there any risk of
passing herpes or any other STD, to a baby through the kind of normal contact
you'd have with a baby?
