Foot spa or massager for my pregnant wife? by
[email protected]
Hi all,
What would you recommend between a foot spa and foot massager for my 5
month pregnant wife? The foot spa sounds good until you have to deal
with the water and the weight etc. But does the foot massager provide
enough relief?
Cheers, Paul

too many carrots? by
Linda
DD is 7 months and I'm still breastfeeding her so who knows when I'll get
pregnant anyway, but we would like to have another one close in age to her
so we're hoping to be pleasantly surprised sometime when it happens.
Even though I haven't had a period I'm just wanting to be safe - just in
case...

Should I have given my homebirth midwife a gift? by
Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward
I completely forgot to do that, and now I'm wondering if I should
have??
Anybody have experience with this?
I was really grateful for the way she helped me with the birth, and
she's been nothing but wonderful to me. I feel so guilty right now,
six months later, for having been so inconsiderate. ...

IUD, hormones or not? by
Denise~*
I'm trying to decide on which IUD to do.
If anybody here has had used these (previous use of course) :-) and
what your experiences were?
Or, even if you haven't used, but have some opinions or knowledge of,
feel free to give input.
Thanks!

"Bebe Sounds" monitor? by
xkatx
So, I just bought this home fetal monitor thing off of a lady for a fairly
good price, I think.
I brought it home (stopped at the Dollar Store to pick up a battery for it
on the way home, even!) and tried it out.
Kind of a tricky gadget, and at first I thought I just got ripped off with a
piece...

OT rectal prolapse in todders by
Anne Rogers
last night DS had a rectal prolapse, DH had a huge panic, having no idea
what is was or anything, I on the other hand knew exactly what it was and
what the treatment was (tissue paper over your finger, push it back in and
don't remove the tissue paper, let it come out naturally), so I dealt with...

update- preterm contractions and placental previa by
Anna.Nicole.m
We had wonderful wonderful news yesterday. My cervical length is just
shy of 4cm which indicates a very low risk of preterm labor. YAY. and
my placenta did move enough to just be a low lying placenta not a
partial previa anymore. So we are right on track for our birth center
delivery. The baby...

Peeing? by

Sorry if this is TMI, but I'm wondering if anyone has had something like
this before...
I just can't stop peeing, but it's not really like I am actually going to
the bathroom... I feel huge urges to pee, but when I actually go, it's like
2 little dribbles, and it seems to be ALL the time -...

Effect of emotional stress in first trimester? by
Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the effect of emotional
stress could be in the first trimester (10 weeks pregnant now). I am
currently going through a very rough time indeed with my mother and
wish that at least it wouldn't affect the baby, if it is affecting me.

Breastfeeding Complications by

Sore nipples
Many women complain of tender nipples that can make nursing painful and
frustrating. The good news is that most don't suffer for long. As the
nipples toughen quickly, breastfeeding becomes painless. However,
improperly positioned babies or babies that suck very vigorously can
make the...

Well, had an appointment (finally) earlier this afternoon...
I guess everything is going fine, AFAIK.
As I thought, and my friend mentioned, I am measuring small - I'm measuring

She's sending me for the GD test for whenever I...
