Is CS still owed after death? by
JR
I did a quick Google and was unable to find the answer to this question:
If I were to die, is my new spouse obligated to keep paying support to
my ex until my child reaches age 18? Is it conceivable that the ex
could take my wife to court to try to get a CS increase?
Or, is the debt...

CA. Courts Can't Make Precedent, On Injustice At Men by
Andre Lieven
( This one also came from alt.support.divorce )
Funny how the California judges scrupulously follow the law in cases of
paternity fraud - but seem to ignore the law with respect to enforcing a
prohibition against gay marriage.
Why do you think that is?

Interesting article about recent rulings by
Steve
Don't mean to stir-up the hornets nest with this (I'm an NCP myself),
but I was doing some research online regarding the outcome of the
Georgia and Tennessee cases when I happened upon this article. Anyone
know what the "rational basis test" constitutes??? Seems like a
catch-all for both of these...

Social Welfare Reports by
Rambler
My understanding is that it is common for the Court to order a Social
Welfare report in the case of disputed custody arrangements for children.
At least that is what happened in my case.
Does anybody have any idea how this works if the court is in one State and
the children are in another (or in...

CSA cops another hiding. by

I don't know precisely what has started it, but somebody
in the Australian Government really seems to have those
despots at the Child Support Agency and their partners
in crime the Family Court of Australia in their sights at
the moment.
Prime Minister John Howard was recently quoted
as saying...

Picture the Deadbeat OR Deadbroke Parents by
Freedom
First of all, realize what you are doing. You are adding to the corrupt
system of separating parents from children. This weakens our society.
Granted there are those few that walk away from responsibility, but they are
a small percentage. Parents in intact families could be under the EXACT
same...

Hello all,
New here. 12 years ago, my girlfriend became pregnant. It was unplanned.
We bought a house and moved in. When our boy was 2, things started to
go badly and we split up. Since, I've been paying her $400 per month in
CS. We were never married and never used...

Why all the whining CP's? by
J
I was searching so old posts in alt.support.single-parents. It seems
some of these folks have the right things in mind. Every once in a

support? The entitlement culture is strong among these people. Hate to
say this, but they are...

Question on Child Support Debt by

I have a friend whose ex-wife moved from Atlanta to Texas, eighteen years
ago, taking the child with her. The ex-wife would not let him have the
address of his son, but wanted him to send the child support to a PO box in
Texas. A judge in Georgia wrote a letter suggesting that he should pay...
