Parenting - The Lost Art by Thom
I am a parent of 2 very young school aged girls. There are times I wonder if I am being the best parent for them. My spouse and I both work, just like other parents. We went through the years (and expense) of daycare. We have gone through the abuse at daycare. We have done everything that other...

carrying twins with a bicornate uterus by Laurie Osborne
I am currently 5.5 mos pregnant with twin girls and have a bicornate uterus (shaped like a heart). I already had a daughter premature at 31 weeks 5 years ago. Has anyone heard of anyone with this condition who did not have a premie? I'm looking for some hope.

Hi everyone... by Tanya Makins
Hi, I just wanted to pop in as I've not posted for a while. My children are getting older and I think I'm brave enough to say that its finally getting easier. My oldest boy is 8, he's quite the independent one now. The twins are now 3 and although they have their moments of screaming and...

Knee Walking by J
One of my one-year-old twins (born two months premature) has started walking on her knees. She crawls fine, but when she has stuff to carry, she gets on her knees and "walks", carrying her loot in her little hands. She's gotten quite good at it. It's funny to watch, but I'm a little concerned...

Junie B. Jones by Seth Jackson
Recently, my 5-year-old girl has been bringing home Junie B. Jones books from the school library. Anyone else familiar with this series? What adorable books! I think I like 'em as much as my kids do. Consider this a recommendation, especially for young girls. -- -Seth Jackson, proud father of...

I have babies :-D. Born on 4/7/06. Brock Michael was born at 3:17am. He weighed 8lbs 7oz and is 20.5 inches long. Benjamin David was born at 3:27am. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and is 21 inches long. I'm so blessed. Both are healthy. There were no complications and vaginal delivery for both!

Messy Bedrooms by Kender
Ahhhhh. Anyone have any tips or tricks to keep the kids bedroom clean? My girls have so many "treasures" I can hardly see the floor or the shelves or the beds. Forget about the closet. There's stuffed animals, boxes, dolls parts, necklaces, pieces of who knows what, and paper everywhere....

Sign language for tots by Digital Larry
Some friends got us this book/video "Sign with your Baby" (or something like that), and having had some experience using sign language at a deaf &/or blind summer camp I worked at when 16, I thought it was a good idea. We started with "milk" but we weren't consistent, and I think the main thing...

Need advice by Nikki
I need some advice so I don't spend more money on something I'm not going to use. I've done to much of that already :-) I've bought car seats that don't work well, and a stroller that doesn't work well. By far the hardest part of twins for me so far is the damn car and getting them around. ...

Teething question by Digital Larry
Our kids are 15 months and have lots of teeth already. Certainly the back molars are in and 4 top and bottom front also. Night-time problems seem to get attributed often to teething, but if this is going on, would you expect the kid to instantly settle down the minute you pick him up? We've also...
