preschool class size question by GandSBrock
Do you think a class the size of 17 with a teacher and one assistant is too big?? This is for 3 year olds. I just wonder if I've been spoiled by a class of 10 with a teacher and one assistant. BTW, I'm baaaaack! But with AOL broadband giving us a headache, who knows for how long. :-D TIA,

how would you choose?? by GandSBrock
Okay, to follow up on the preschool question. The only reason I'm considering the school with the 17:2 ratio is that they have a great (read: flexible) drop off/after care program. Mine would be going to a Tuesday/Thursday class (8:10 to 11:10 - groan! so early!!) and would be eligible to be...

What Do You Drive? by Meg
Hi! We are now trying to find the best transportation for a will-be 2yo and expected twins (Feb.). Just curious what families with three kids in carseats drive. We're looking at minivans...but where's the storage/carrying space? Any other suggestions? (I've also checked out a Ford Expedition,...

when did your twins start talking? by Shirley M...have a goodaa \\;-\)
Chris was a VERY late talker and did end up having to have speech therapy. But Kathleen was speaking in full sentences by 2 and of course talking for her brother which was one of the issues of late speech. Shirley "Anita" wrote in...

35 Week Ultrasound Update by Ben and Sarah Katon
Hi everyone. I haven't formally introduced myself, but I have asked a few questions as I've progressed through the pregnancy. My name is Sarah. I have a 3 year old boy named Will and am expecting twin boys (Drew and Noah) in a few weeks. My ultrasound today was quite enlightening. The babies...

Speech and Hearing problems by Shirley M...have a goodaa \\;-\)
Just because a child doesn't have hearing problems doesn't mean that their speech will be ok. Chris never, ever had an ear infection until 4 and has very high sensitive ears, but his speech was more of an issue of development. When he did start to speak at 3, then we had an articulation problem. ...

update: preschool decision made by GandSBrock
I know you are glad I have finally made the decision and will shut up about it - for a while at least. I went with the smaller class ratio. And I feel good about the decision. I think my guys would be lost in a large class and that would just make them more dependent on each other. Plus I think...

Thank you to everyone who responded. It really helps to hear stories of success. I'm now 26W 1 day. Bedrest and meds seem to be doing the trick for the time being. Actually I would like to hear the details of ROP. I'm trying to prepare myself for anything that may possibly come my way. I'm sure...

Needing Advice by Marie
My twin boys are 3 mo old (5wks corrected) and becoming as different as night and day. Alex (who started out the smaller one) has gained on his brother, now outweighing him by a pound or so. Chris' growth spurts have been overshadowed by a period of spitting up about half of everything he eats,...

Reminder charts for midnight madness? by Gary

Weird Skin question by The Huwe Family
Ok, here is a weird question. I was overweight before I got pregnant. A few months ago(around 4 mo preg), I noticed that the bottom of my stomach had a hard area just under the skin that hurt to touch. It has since spread to just below my navel and to the sides and withholds a finger impression ....
