Blood Pressure by
Kazh
Is 140/90 so high ?
I think half the time the tests they do MAKE you stressed out and worry =
during your PG instead of enjoying it.
I'm ready to tell me MW to forget all tests and I'll see them at the =
hospital next may !!

scard and happy - what next? by
slanchogled
Hi,
I'm new here, but I just had to share this with somebody, and ask for
your comments.
I did a home pregnancy test earlier today and it came out positive. My
period was due yesterday, but I didn't feel any different then usual,
even the opposite - I was sure I am not pregnant. I had the...

OT question for those in countries with national health care systems by
Marie
I hope I am wording this correctly...national health care system is
when the health care is "free" but you pay for it with your taxes,
right? (like what is being discussed in the long homebirth thread)
My question is if you have an emergency, a car wreck for example, you
will be seen right away,...

False alarm... for practice! (a bit long) by
Zaz
Last night around 11 PM I thought my water broke. I had just gone to the
bathroom, and was blowing my nose before going back in bed, when this liquid
discharge wet the crutch of my pyjamas quite good. I wasn't certain... I
won't go in the details, but let's say I was quite puzzled.
I read my...

April due dates (posted Nov '04) by
Sarah Vaughan
(With many thanks to Mary S., original author!)
How's everyone feeling this month? Is the morning sickness gone, the
tiredness starting to fade? Not too huge yet, but enough belly to run
your hands over with that sweet, wistful smile on your face when you
don't think anyone's noticing? :) How...

How are you feeling this month, three-monthers? You're almost out of
the first trimester (depending on how you count) -- still feeling sick
and tired, or are you starting to pick up? Do you look pregnant? Heard
the heartbeat yet, or
still...

Bleeding in Early Pregnancy by
Sammi
Hi, all. Anyone with experiences of bleeding in very early pregnancy to
share?
I have been having light but red bleeding for 7 days already. Have seen the
doctor who established it as being at 5 weeks, and the encouraging thing was
we found a steady heartbeat with the ultrasound scan.
Doc gave...

Period pain 2 weeks after IUD fitting by
JBC
Hi all, I'm 18 and had an IUD fitted 3 weeks ago. (I decided against the
pill due to family history.)
2 weeks after fitting (a week ago) I started to get what can only be
described as 'period pains' for 5-10 minutes every afternoon at about 4pm.
Sometimes it comes back half an hour later for...

Quick Update - Getting Desperate, but not that desperate!!!! Ranting by
Sunshine
OK - so I'm still around even though labor was stopped with Mag. at 33
weeks (now I'm 38). OB has scheduled an induction for this Thursday
due to swelling and rising BP. Goes against everything I am trying to
do since we're hoping for a natural childbirth. DD was anything but.
So I bought the...

Why am I so hungry all the time? by
Vijay
Hi.
I'm only 5 or 6 weeks along (I think) and yet I'm eating literally
twice as much as normal. I'm hungry all the time. I'm eating very rich
stuff which is the only way to feel full, stuff like cheese omelets,
creamy soups, crackers with peanut butter, egg salad sandwiches,
cookies, ice cream,...
