All my references tell me 18weeks is the norm.
I wonder why i'm scheduled for 21 weeks ?
Also, my referral is written up as a " 20/40 Anatomy U/S"
Can somebody with a bit of medical knowledge please decipher ? :)

urge to push, not dilated by
Al Bell
Question: If you're partly dilated and have a huge urge to push, is it
really wrong to push?
Background:
A year ago, after one of the 10 million ob/gyns I saw decided it was time
to induce me because it looked as if I had preeclampsia (blood pressure
180/100, so maybe she was right), I ended up...

Listeria by
KD
As far as I understand, Listeria is food poisoning. Within a couple
of days you would know you had it with flu-like symptoms I believe.
Vomiting, cramps, etc. often bad enough to have to go to the hospital.
And I believe, in most cases, a preg. woman who gets it loses the
baby. Someone in my area...

unsettling ultrasound by
Clw31
Hello,
I'm feeling very anxious at the moment. I went for a dating u/s on Thursday.
The tech said, you are pregnant but... the baby isn't showing up well on the
screen, it should look like a bean and this isn't clear he wanted to call my
doctor to get authorization for a vaginal u/s. Couldn't...

tonight, he got snitty and went to bed and shut the door. It wasn't like...

It's Sunday. I've been invited to go to a Baptist Church.

The last time I went to any religious services (other than weddings and
funerals) was when I was converting to Judaism. I never finished (moved and
felt too uncomfortable to go through the interview...

NEW RESEARCH INTO A CURE FOR DOWNS SYNDROME by
Harvey Twyman
A recent "Short News Feed" on "UK Media Channels" mentioned new research.
However there seems to be "No Information" on the Internet about it that I can find.
A "Person" and a "Statement" was mentioned.
The Person:
Someone called MOWBY - Doctor Mowby?

Our homeless saga by
TConno102
Hi all. Just wanted to drop in real quick and say hi, as well as fill you in
our drama of the past 10 days. Life has been completely turned around and
upside down, but we're surviving. I'm writing from my husband's cousin's
computer ATM.
We were all set to move to NH from MA last Friday morning....

Update: Slight Glitch by
Naomi Rivkis
Well, I'm just back from five days in the hospital. And I'm only 23
weeks along. No, no m/c or anything awful like that, don't worry.
Still unpleasant, though.
Four years ago (almost to the day -- Nov. 13) I was in a major highway
accident and had to have extensive emergency abdominal surgery....

mononucleosis and pregnancy by

spleen.
I am worried about my health, but more importantly the health of the
baby. Do you...

General anesthetic for C-section by
Tara
I've had one emergency c-section and am most likely to have another
c-section. I had a spinal with the first and I had a headache so bad
for like a week I couldn't even turn my head or barely even move my
eyes from side to side.
I am wondering if any one knows the possibility of that...

Vitex and PCOS by
Sophie
How does Vitex help with PCOS? I posted the reply at my other group about
how Vitex is safe when nursing and helps with PCOS. Now they want to know
how/why.
Thanks.
