Hi There , ;-)
I have a 20 month old son who is currently still breastfeeding.
Weaning so far has gone very well.
But now I am down to the last two feedings...when he goes to bed at

Weird advice from French doc regarding mastitis by
Workingmom
A Danish friend of mine living in France has a wife who currently has a
mild mastitis.
She's been told to stop nursing for a WEEK (the child is less than two
months old) and use antibiotics.
She's also been told, that she shouldn't nurse, because the baby could
catch the infection.
Isn't this...

Gassy Baby? by
Wrangler 4x4
My wife and I have a newborn (2-17). He is doing great with nursing so
far but seems to have a bit of a gas problem. He rarely sleeps
peacefully, because he is always squirming and grunting. He frequently
passes gas, but it is difficult to burp him. We probably change him
10-12 times a day. Is...

Amount to feed? by
Wrangler 4x4
My wife and I are confused about how long she should nurse. She has a
gut feeling our son isn't getting enough. On average the feedings last
about 20-25 min. There are times though, that he will nurse for an
hour. Should we stop him after a certain amount of time? When we feed
him her milk in...

A Few More Questionds For Those With Experience by
Wrangler 4x4
My wife is cutting out dairy and eggs to help our gassy baby. Are
acidic or spicy foods ok? How about greasy or fried foods? Also, she
is starting to feed our baby from a bottle (her milk). How much should
he get per feeding if he is less than a month old? She will be
returning to work soon...

Nursing Pillow by
[email protected]
There's a new nursing pillow on the market, My Baby's Nest. It appears
to be good for larger mothers or those who have had C-sections. It's
expensive, but maybe it would be worth it for some mothers. What do you
think?

Excessive spit up?! by
www.ttdown.com
I know this is a very common question and everything I've read tells
me I should not worry but I still can't help it.
My son, Ethan, is now 6 weeks old. He was born 4 weeks early so his
actual age I guess you could say is 42 weeks. Anyway, the problem we
are having is that he is throwing up at...

biting by
Xahne
My Little Bug is now 8 months old, and has been happily breast feeding
since she was born.
In the last couple of days, she has started biting instead of feeding.
Does any one have any suggestions on how to stop her doing this? I
really don't want to stop feeding her myself.
Xahne.
