bad parenting and sleep problems by
[email protected]
My son slept a miraculous 8hrs before his 12th week. No Ferber method, no nothing.
He started doing this regularly and would get up around 2am. Then he'd want some
milk and sleep again for a few more hours.
Of course I screwed this up :( I took him out of his crib and he slept in my arms
in bed...

question about jaundice by
kylee
DS will be 4 weeks old this saturday. When he was 4 days old his bilirubin
level was 16, and down to a 15.2 the next day so his ped said that there
wasn't anything to worry about cause it was obviously going down and it
should be completely cleared up by 2 weeks.
Here we are at almost 4 weeks and...

Ferber and Ezzo by
lizzard woman
I want to thank everyone who commented in the Ferber thread as I learned a
bit about that.
In the end, as with most things, I'll just adopt whatever Dorothy's opinion
is ; )
Someone mentioned Ezzo. Does he have a similar program for sleep scheduling
of infants?
Just wonderin'

Nosebleeds? by
Ali's Daddie
Note: I also posted this in A.M.
A couple mornings a week Alegra has woken up with a little blood in her
snotty nose. Not a lot of blood, just a slight discoloration more than
anything else, but something that gives me a little concern. (It doesn't
hurt or anything that we can tell)
We do use a...

Toddlers and food waste by
Cheryl S.
Julie, age 2.75, eats pretty normally for her age - that is, not a whole
lot, and doesn't like more foods than she likes. I understand this and
don't have any trouble with it - she's growing and has plenty of energy.
What bugs me lately is that she will ask for food after food, and by the
time I...

paradigms of spanking by
Doan
Have you read the Embry study, LaVonne? It is the combination of
reward and punishment that seem to be effective. If you really
believe that punishment doesn't work, why don't you go down to
your local juvenile hall and demand that the children be released? ;--)
