GTT/GD - somewhat of a rant by
KellyH
Hi everyone,
I do not post here much, I mostly lurk. I am having what many of you would
consider a very interventionist pregnancy, and please respect that this is
my choice. We went through IVF and I am now 30w5d pregnant with twins. I
am willing to do anything to keep these babies safe...

Alexander's birth story (very long and rambly) by
Rebecca Jo
I started having irregular, mostly painless, uncomfortable contractions on
Friday, June 3rd. This continued through Monday. I fell asleep Monday night
at about midnight and was awoken at just before 2:00 am by a very painful
contraction. I got up to pee and to see if that would make it stop. I...

THE TRUTH BEHIND THE VACCINE COVER-UP By Russell Blaylock, M.D. by
john
http://www.whale.to/a/blaylock.html
At this point Dr. Johnson tells the group of his concerns for his own
grandchild. He says, (page 200) "Forgive this personal comment, but I got
called out at eight o'clock for an emergency call and my daughter-in-law
delivered a son by c-section. Our first male...

scan quite shocking by
april and stewart
Hi All
well I went for my scan today after putting it off for a week but it was a
good job I did really LOL. It turns out that I am only 8 weeks and 4 days
pregnant and not 3 months and about 2 weeks according to my workouts and
midwifes workouts and examinations. It was rather shocking I must say...

Infant food question by
Amber
Does anyone know when it is safe to start giving infants cottage cheese
or yogurt? My daughter is 8 months old now and is really turning her
nose up at baby food. She still has no teeth, but does a good job of
mashing with her gums. I have began to give her cut up (in very small
pieces) veggies...

Child
Tadpole (benjamin) arrived on 6-4, weighing a perfectly normal 7 lbs 5 oz,
despite the scary predictions of the ob (i had gd). HAH! The birth sucked,
and I don't really want to relive it with a blow by blow (we managed to pull
off a VB with only nine minutes before doctor trotted us to...

32.6 week doctors appointment by
SuperEeyore
I went this morning to the doctor's appointment. Dr. Coolbeans was on
vacation, so I was nervous about meeting a different doctor.
The appointment went really fast. There was very little waiting for
each part, so I didn't get much knitting done. His assistant was very
nice and completely...

29w check up by
Emily
Hi folks,
Had my check up today. Nothing too exciting to report,
except that my OB was a bit worried about this cough I've
had for a week. She wrote a perscription for a z-pack
(antibiotics) that I can fill if I don't get better in a couple
of days, and told me to take Robitussin and lots of...

My wife and I have been trying desparetly to get preg for 3 years. We
finally got some good news this month. She was 10 days late and a home
preg. test came back positive. We went to the Dr.'s to confirm and sure

Blood pressure by
Amy
One of those perpetual topics, huh? I've googled the archives, but I
haven't quite found the answers I'm looking for.
So, I went in for my regularly scheduled appointment on Thursday (31
weeks), and my BP was 168/90 (IIRC). Coincidentally, it was the day of
my GTT so I got a CBC along with that,...

Just being stressed? by
Anne Rogers
difficult to say, I know diarrhoea isn't a usual pregnancy thing, it's
normally constipation, but I had loads in early pregnancy, both when I was
in England and Korea, so I couldn't even blame it on the different food.
Also frequently got wierd pulse readings, including once when I was doing
gentle...
