flapping hands by Beliavsky
My 4yr9mo son often flaps his hands when he is excited. Although flapping hands is a symptom of autism, we don't think he is autistic, since he does not exhibit other symptoms. We would like the reduce the frequency of his hand flapping over time. Any suggestions?

Has Kevin W. Concannon retrieved the missing MILLIONS? Then Governor Vilsack hired him to bring Iowa DHS more federal dollars. That's what Vilsack's press release said when he hired Concannon. Did Vilsack know about the mess Concannon left behind in Maine? NOW the former CIETC CEO Cunningham is...

Three Kids? You Showoffs by Beliavsky
I thought this article was amusing. Of course raising children costs money, but I don't think parents should be discouraged from having more than two, unless they are on welfare. One of my wife's sisters even suggested abortion when my wife was pregnant with her 3rd child, just because three...

dr bhavasar : giving strength to mischievous kids by [email protected]
1. If your kids hate the home work. Get them to eat 1 spoon butter 1 spoon sugar and 1 glass room- temperature water in the morning followed by rotating both-arms anti- bowling (like cricket but opposite direction). This will give them more strength, they will concentrate more easily, and become...

9 week old strains on gas/BM by Greg R
We have a 9 week old son (3 weeks corrected age) who weighs just under 13 lbs. He always puts on quite a show when pushing a BM or gas. It looks pretty painful!! He grunts, flails, and cries sometimes. This typically occurs within an hour of eating and will last 5-20 minutes. After he seems...

2-year-olds reading? by [email protected]
Anyone else out there heard of "native reading"? I was interested in starting to teach my oldest to read early, and was googling around and found a website called nativereading.com. It has two chapters of a book online where the author makes a pretty compelling argument that kids should begin...
