cjra
Woohooo!!!!
She managed about 15 mls (1/2 oz) yesterday, which is more than usual,
and then BF'd ALL night and for 45mins straight at lunch. Today I had a
meeting so I BF'd her at 9am for 30 mins, but didn't get back as fast
as I'd hoped so the sitter tried with the bottle, and after a few

Freezing breastmilk by
KD
Hi all:
A simple question: Can I freeze breastmilk in ice cube trays, then put
into freezer bags? I just started my boy on rice cereal and mix it with
just a bit of breastmilk. When making foods for him later I plan to use
a bit of breastmilk in that too at first, but I don't need a whole
bottle...

I am about 3 months pregnant and I have 4 stepson's (one away at
college) ages: 13, 13, 16 and 18. The boys reside with my husband and
I on a full-time basis. I have a good relationship with all of the
boys and they were actually quite excited when we told them that we
were going to have a baby...

Well, today is Day One :( by
cjra
Oh man it's hard to leave DD.
She wouldn't eat much this morning when I left her, so her last nursing
session was ~6:30am. I left 3 different types of bottles and told the
babysitter to call if she becomes hysterical. She's still got a bit of
a runny bottom but not major diarhhea, but her cold...

A friend managed to get her to take 5 mls on saturday. We've tried once
since then (were travelling Monday and she had her shots today). We've
been trying - tho not daily - since she was 6 weeks old and she's 11
weeks now. She just refuses. She DID take a bottle...

15 month checkup by
Rebecca Jo
Went in for shots & checkup today. He ended up not getting the MMR because
she was concerned about his allergies & we decided just to wait a bit.
Alexander only gained 7 ounces in the last 3 months (he now weighs 21lbs
14oz) and that has her concerned. She wants me to add more fatty foods to...

static weight by
Notchalk
It's me again...
Just wondering if anyone thinks I should be worried about static weight
in my lil boy. He has been the same weight since 11 months old, and
he's now almost 16 mo. Still has chubby cheeks, still night feeds,
still doesn't eat much solids.
Tonight we are going to try "nini's...

Alright, if this is TMI, I apologize first!
For the last little while, I've noticed I do have the first stages of milk
already. I'm checking how far along I am because I can't remember lol...
I'm 35 weeks today.
(Here's probably the TMI part) I have been able to squeeze small amounts of
clear...

I keep thinking about Jenrose by

DD 8 months has had a couple of teeth for months but she has only just
started biting, about 5 days ago. I can't help an involuntary "ouch" which
seems to scare her and sometimes she won't feed afterwards (which means at
night and naptime as she normally nurses to sleep, she has just sadly...

early trouble by
Kim
DS was born on 9/14/06 and nursed somewhat okay in the hospital. He seemed
really gassy and sometimes had a little trouble latching on. Of course,
when the lactation consultant came, he latched perfectly and had a nice long
feed.
Unfortunately we've had problems since we got home. Each time...

Male breastfeeding - fact or fiction? by
Joanne
Dear All

breastfeeding. The highly respected Professor Jared Diamond wrote in
1997 that we could have a future society were men will take equal share
of breastfeeding their children.
Does anyone have an thoughts, opinions,...

How to boost pumped breast milk quantity? by
mummy
Hi,
I'm a working adult. My baby is 3 months old now. Before I came back
to work 4 weeks ago, I can pump around 180ml to 200 ml per day in total
(pumped twice in office). However, recently, due to heavy work load and
didn't pump, now become around 140ml in total.
What should I do to boost up...
