18 mo, barely eats solids? by
Sarah
Hello all, I have an 18 month old baby who nurses 10-20 times a day,
doesn't get his main sustenance from solid food. Is this bad? He'll
eat a very small amount of eggs and beans in morning, sip on diluted
juice throughout the day, now is starting to drink a few oz's of whole
cow's milk, and does...

I just wondered what everyone else's experiences with extended nursing is...

still not that interested in solid food although she has her days when she
eats and eats and eats.
I was just reading a post about a 15 mth old...

18mo wants me to nurse her bears! by
Al Bell
My 18-month-old daughter, who nurses on demand when she's not in daycare,
now wants me to nurse her toy bears and put shoes on them.
I couldn't find any references to this type of thing in the baby books and
was wondering if other toddler parents out there are experiencing this
sort of thing.

1st Newborn Doc Appointment by
Carol Ann
Morgan had her first doctor's appointment today.
Here's the breakdown:
~The hospital miscalculated her length. Today she was 20.5" so that means
that she was NOT 19" at birth. Seems she is in the upper percentile for
height. YIPPEE!!
~She is 7.9 oz. That is up 1 oz from her birthweight.

stasya
Hi all,
Baby Rosie was born on January 4th, and was 8 lbs 12 ozs. We just came
back from her two month immunization. She's actually exactly 10 weeks

she's somewhere just past the 95th percentile.
The only thing that would make me...

2 month checkup! by
V.
Madeline is now 2 months old...how time flies!
She weighed in at a nicely average 11lbs, but is a lanky 24 inches long (95
%ile)!
Anyone have advice about car seats? At this rate she will outgrow the
infant seat by height well before she meets the weight requirement of the
toddler seat I had...

Well we had our two month visit. The boys are doing great! Brock is 14lbs
2oz and 24 inches while Ben is 11lbs 9oz and 23.5 inches. They each had
three shots. Brock was ticked off royally about the whole thing. Ben took
it a little better. He was really sleepy so went back to sleep...

2 oz cup? by
Rosie
Does anywhere sell a 2 oz sippy cup or similar?
I'm so tired of putting 4 oz of stuff into DD's cup only to have her refuse
all of it. If I put 2 oz in, she can't work out how to drink it.
It's costing me a fortune in prune juice. :)
It would also be perfect for ebm - seems like a real gap in...

Dear m.k.b'ers,
Well it's been 25 months since I started nursing. Meg is 25 months and
Poppin Fresh is about to turn 10 months old.
I'm down to nursing Meg 2 times a day most days. I don't mind the idea of
her weaning at this point but don't know if I will wean her in 2 weeks or 2
years...

2-month WBV by
[email protected]
My poor little guy got his first set of shots today - two in each leg. He
handled it like a trooper though. He smiled at the nurses and the doctor
and was a real charmer. He cried during the shots and I nursed him as soon
as she was done. He ate for about 10 minutes with a few little screams
thrown...
