Bothers Me by
Andrea J. Richardson
There are two things that bother me. One is that a lot of people think they
have permission to touch my stomach. People at work touch it all the time
and don't even bother asking me first. The only person that doesn't need
permission to touch my stomach is my husband. The other thing that...

X-Posted, Ridiculous Hospital Bill by
New York Jen
I just got the bill from the insurance company. The hospital charged $2,750
for Lily's stay. Mind you, she stayed in my room with me the entire time
and the staff didn't so much as change her diaper. The neonatal staff had
her for about 2 hours after she was born and then I requested her in...

ultrasound at 6 weeks, no heartbeat by
Stephanie
Hello, I am new to this group. We have been trying for a 2nd baby for
2 years. I had a miscarriage in Feb 2004. I was only 4 or 5 weeks, and
it appeared that the ovum never actually attached. I am now 6 wks
pregnant. I went for my first ultrasound yesterday at 6wks, 2 days.
The dr was unable to...

Baby number three by
avalonphotography
What I wanted to know with my original post, really, is how did you
bring up the discussion about a third baby with your husband? I am
not sure where to start or how to start because I am really bad with
this kind of thing. I can talk about less important matters but to
suddenly bring up a bit...

ICA/ACA merger? (also: OBs causing strokes in babies? Attn: FCER and ABQAURP) by
Todd Gastaldo
CHIROS: Did you read about Jim Edwards golfing with CJ Mertz? See below.
PREGNANT WOMEN: OBs may be causing STROKES in babies...
OBs are knowingly closing birth canals up to 30% (see PROOF below) and
gruesomely pulling and pushing on babies' spines...
With birth canals senselessly closed up...

AF after Baby by
Daye
Hello all...
I got my first real period yesterday after Leopold. It is really
heavy. I usually don't have heavy periods. I feel like I am
flooding.
Please tell me this just my body working itself out after having a
baby. Is that it??

Totaly off topic rant by
Tori M.
I got contacts yesterday and I took them out after 3 hours because my eyes
where tired and I forgot to buy eye drops. Today it took me about an hour
to get both contacts in so then I had to go to the store to get eye drops
since my eyes felt like sandpaper. My hubby bought some eye drops and...

Well.. avoid the thread then.. actually... I don't really see the word
HATE in this one, or at least very little.. it seems like one of the
least offensive around here.

off BCPs, feel better! by
kim in cville va
Anyone else have this happen?
I went off BCPs 11 days ago to get ready to TTC. The withdrawal bleed was
as usual, but since then, I *feel better* than I have in a long time, as in,
emotionally stable and intellectually effective. I had been on the pill for
4 years and for at least last year, I...

Calclating EDD's by
Cathy
I am getting a bit fed up with having no 'exact' date! Last time, I knew
exactly - when we BD'ed (which tied in with date of LMP), etc. etc. This
time, I thought I knew - but I'm not sure. As I have no LMP to go on (I
don't think they'd accept 21 March 2002 as a viable option!), I am going...

Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I have replied to a few posts here already,
so I guess I should probably tell you a little bit about myself.
Our little boy is almost 2 1/2 and we're currently trying for our second.
Had a miscarriage about half a year ago at 5 weeks, so we're trying harder
than ever...

Strange post-natal itch/rash? by
Shelly
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this...since the birth of my
son 6 weeks ago, I have been having an annoying skin problem on my calf just
above my ankle. It feels like I have a rash about the size of a half dollar
there...the skin feels itchy/burny, but appears perfectly normal. I...

Garment extenders (snaps) for onesies? by

Has anyone here used these with good luck, to make onesies wearable for an
extra amount of time by a baby who has outgrown them? I am just curious. I
bought one pack which contains 6 of them with different size snaps so they
can fit onsies with different size snaps (meaning the actual...

38week checkup and induction by
Angela Schepers
Well, I went in for my 38 week appointment today and the OB was kinda
suprised to see me cause she thought I'd go into labor before then (was
2-3cm dialated and 80% effaced at 37weeks). Well, my BP and everything
else was fine. Gained 1.5 lbs in the past week but I've been eating
like crazy...
