2 week growth spurt? by
JoAnna
is there normally a growth spurt at 2 wks? seems early to me but Anna turned
into the non-stop-super-sucker this week, wanting to bf constantly and being
very cranky at night from 9-12!! She doesn't spit up frequently like my son
did so i figure she's just a hungry gal and isn't getting...

Lately, while feeding, dd (5 months) will start flailing her arms and
popping off the breast. Usually, I just get her back on, and she will
do it repeatedly about 4 or 5 times, then...

UPDATE: baby on the breast all the time by

Calling all EPers.. by

I salute you. How do you do it??
I think I'll soon be taking your route. The only time my dd is nursing
from me is the middle of the night feedings. Rest of the time she's
not even latching. She just screams outright. It makes me feel like a
failure. but then, I'll accept I'm a failure when I give...

I've NIPped! :) by
Belphoebe
.. . . . Two days in a row!
Before this past Sunday (7/6), I'd nursed a couple of times in the
examination room at the ped, and once in the car, parked in the lot of a
rest-stop McDonald's. So I'd never really nursed "out in the open."
Sunday, DH and I were taking our daily walk with DS. We...

6 months! by

Well, DD and I have hit the 6 month target, after a very rocky start. I
would just like to say thank you to everyone who posts here, as I have read
so much wonderful information that seems unavailable in the books in our
library. I feel quite proud that my little heffalump has gone from 7 lb 1

Nursing help needed by
Cary Hayes
My sister-in-law is 32 weeks pregnant with number two and is interested in
breastfeeding. She did not bf her first for all the wrong reasons and now
after seeing me succeed at it with my 19 week old she wants to bf.
The problem is that she has very little confidence in her abilities and
doesn't...

Green poop for over a week by

My 4.5 month old suddenly started having green stools over a week ago.
Generally, they are dark green in color (the color of overcooked
sprinach), fairly watery and soak into the diaper, but there is still
some solids in it, that are sort of stringy. I haven't noticed...

bottle is easier... by

maybe it's just me, but my milk flows much faster than the bottle,
especially with a let down. it seems like I am trying to drown my DD
sometimes. she gets very frustrated id she has to suck more than once or
twice instead of just swallowing. She's 7 weeks old. I'm hoping this will
taper off...
