How long after...?? by
Tara
How long after you have a baby do you normally stop bleeding? I had
an elective c-section 9 almost 10 days ago and my bleeding pretty much
abruptly stopped today,,just wondering if this was normal.
TIA

July due dates by
Mary
Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out! Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning? Have you started telling
people? Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals? Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?

Long and very light period by
Maggie Fox
I came off the Pill in August and we have been trying to start a family
since. My periods were fairly regular - as in every 14 days, lasted about 4
days and were fairly heavy. I suffered from PMS, had cramps and my nipples
were very very sensitive. These symptoms were normal to how I was before...

Ladies :
I am an expecting mom due in Jan . We are only me and my husband in

getting some...

full moon? by
Liz S. Reynolds
So with my duedate come and gone I'm getting antsy and everyone is calling
"to see how I am".
My MIL remarked that between the snowstorm and full moon coming up
something should happen. I was thinking of the snow too on the theory that
babies naturally maximize inconvenience, but hadn't heard of...

Can abdominal pains and cystitis be very early signs of pregnancy? by
MariaBr
Can abdominal pains and cystitis be very early signs of pregnancy?
If I am pregnant, I should have conceived 4 or 6 days ago. Could I
already "feel" pregnant? I am wondering, because today I have felt a
very unusual pain in my lower abdomen. It's not really painful, just
enough to make me feel...

unbearable now that I am pregnant. (They already have 2 grandkids)...my
sister-in-law is avoiding them like the plague so I think MIL has ****ed...

We have not talked in a long time.
Seems like yesterday that you and I were swapping web site
updates and advice about how our partners were doing and
how we as the non-birth parents where coping with our own
thought and feelings. I distinctly remember the wonderful
1st picture of you and your new...

My baby was blue at first by
DD
I had a baby a few weeks ago and he came out quite blue. He cried right
away and turned a nice pink but still was scary to me. I had a vaginal
birth and pushed for about an hour.
Is this normal or are babies supposed to pop out nice and pink.

Greetings, all :)
I really just wanted to post a quick thank you note to all of you --
I'm really late finding this group (36w 2d) and have spent the last couple of weeks "cramming" to get caught up.
Reading everyone's stories has gone a long way to help me feel a little less bizarre as I...

An update on my friend (the sensitive question) by
Sophie
Well how funny I should ask you all if offering my friend those herbs would
be insensitive. She just posted an update on the group we both read and
asked for them.
Apparently she's been upset enough to have gone to the Dr for help. Her
husband checked out fine, and so did she. She had her...

Update on breech at 35 weeks by
Christa
Hi All!
Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about the baby still being
breech at 35 weeks. I had lost my connection to the Internet for quite some
time, so I couldn't respond any sooner.
I had another check by the midwife last Tuesday. She thinks the baby has
turned into the right...

reflexology for turning babies by

Does anyone know any DIY pressure points I could use for turning a
posterior baby or a breech baby? I think I am going to end up with a
posterior one as I have an anterior placenta, although I am doing all
the excercises. I have heard of good results for natural treatments
for breech but not...

Children of world hit hard by flu
Health officials in the United States and abroad said yesterday that
very young children might be at increased risk from this year's flu
virus — the Fujian H3N2 strain — which has hit earlier and
harder than any flu strain in 30 years.
