Spray-on tanning booth (mystic tan) and BF by
[email protected]
We'll be going on vacation soon and I was planning on getting a
spray-on tan to avoid blinding the other pool patrons with my
glaringly white skin. A nice tan seems to make the fat dimples less
noticeable as well. :)
Is this safe while breastfeeding? It seems from the FAQ on mystic tan
website...

sleep/reflux & prevacid by
[email protected]
My 10month old DS has been on prevacid for about two months
and it's helped a lot with his sleep. He can sleep some
nights up to 5-6hrs straight. But he still gets up around
6-8 times just to be rocked for a few minutes.
Since it took so long for us to diagnose the problem of silent
reflux we...

Is It EVER Okay to Let your Newborn Cry? by
Carol Ann
I just can't get Morgan to sleep without me holding her or having her suck
on my breast constantly.
I am really going crazy. Is it EVER okay to let your newborn cry in her
crib? If so, for how long?

CTTD! by
New York Jen
Laszlo has been KILLING me lately!
He plays hubby's guitars all the time and makes up words to his lil songs.
Usually it's just the dogs' names and things like that, and after a
performance he requires applause (of course). So the other day he played
some music for my mother and me and then we...

Have cut out a night feed (see separate post)
Moo is eating LOADS of solids and having about 6 boobings a day. He
will eat a whole banana for breakfast now.
He has his first shoes and is learning how to stand up without holding
onto things.
He is an expert crawler.
He has 6 teeth and I...

yikes; Pedialyte "substitute" by
[email protected]
So I know this very nice woman who wants the best for her daughter,
but is rather uneducated as to what that might be. Her DD is two
months younger than DS, so that makes her about 15 months old.
The mama does a lot of things I wouldn't be terribly comfortable
doing, like feeding her DD Froot...

One year today! by
Alpha
We've been breastfeeding for one year today! Yay!
Today I was thinking about how in the hospital, there was a short period
where it looked for all the world like Quinn was going the way his brother
went -- growing disinterest in the breast before the milk came in. (In
Eamon's case, it led to...

Solids how many times a day? by
Jinxie
Hi,
Joseph is five months old as of yesterday. I started him on cereal
(about a tablespoon) when he was four months. Now he's up to about
three tablespoons of cereal in the mornings with the same amount of
either apples or bananas & in the evening he gets the same amounts of
a vegetable & a...

Bye... for now :o( by
Andrea
Hi everyone,
I have loved being a part of this group. Kamron is no longer nursing, I
weaned him gradually without any upset on his part ~ I was more upset than
him.
My dilema was I promised myself no kids after 30 (Im 27 this time round),
and that along with the strong history all down my mothers...

I don't want to wean by
badgirl
Why is it that every time there is a problem or I have a complaint
peoples first reaction is *wean him, he's old enough anyway* or *when
you gonna wean that kid?*
I get frustrated sometimes because he pinches or he wants to play back
and forth or I just don't want him hanging on me...whatever,...

need tshirt ideas by
teapot
The moo has a tshirt with a big red heart and 'boobs' printed over it
in large letters. It stops forumla mums telling me he should be
weaned!
I'd like to make more but need ideas, I like the 'formula sucks' idea
someone has on cafe press, and I was thinking of 'I'm a tit man
myself'.
Has anyone...

Q?: Protein in = Protein out? by
chris
Hi all!
We just had our 6 month check up. Everything is going
well, DS is developing normally in every way except
weight. He currently weighs 13lbs 5oz which is just
below the curve on the groth charts. The doc isn't
frantic, she acknoledges the progress he's making in
every other arena, but...

I am at my wits end. Please help! by
Carol Ann
Morgan had a good nite. She slept for 2 - 3 hours and I was able to sleep
and then during the day I was able to catch up on my bills.
Now, however, I cannot console her. She keeps showing signs that she wants
to feed, but I know she is full.
I believe she has gas. So, Kevin is working on...

OT Developmental Questions by
Kathy
I realize that babies develop at their own pace, but I have a few areas
of (minor) concern with my daughter and I was hoping for some input from
others.
DD will be 7 months old in 10 days...
She can not sit up on her own, and when I do sit her up she is quite
wobbly. Sometimes she can stay up...

Intro by
Auntie Bubbles
Hello all;
I am in the April class, graduating from MKP to MKB in the next few weeks.
My name is Alexis, I am 39 and expecting my first child (gender as yet
unknown) around 4/21/04.
I have NO experience with breastfeeding, even when I was a live-in nanny
the kids were all formula fed. I've hardly...

leopard baby? by
Luna
My 3.5 month old woke up with faint orange spots on his scalp this morning.
He has no history of cradle cap, dermatitis, etc, so I have no idea what
this is. My first thought is some sort of reaction to something I ate -
which was shrimp, fish, and scallops for dinner last night.
Any...
