My DD is 3 months and fully breastfed. She has been gaining weight steadily, but only put on 3oz in the last 3 weeks (10-13 weeks). My HV doesn't seem too bothered, and neither was I until last night. She fed almost constantly for 2 hours last night - kept pulling off and getting really distressed,...

Looking for advice in my situation: I have an Avent Isis that I used with my first babe for the occasional bottle, and I was never really successful pumping ... the most I'd get after about 20 minutes was 1-2 oz. (I tried pumping every day, tried it when babe was nursing, tried it first thing in...

Could this be milk allergy or something else? by Anna
My daughter is 8.5 months and I'm still breastfeeding her but just recently I started to give her some formula. First I tried the ready-to-drink Similac Advanced formula and my daughter drank it without any problems. Few days later I tried the Similac Advanced with Iron and DHA and ARA formula in...

For all you Mothers out there who have purchased Breast Pumps: What type of pump do you recommend? How did you decide what type to buy? For me, I am planning to primarily breast feed; however, I also want my Baby's Daddy to be able to feed her from time to time, and I'm sure there will be times...

baby won't sleep (OT) by AnnaS
DS always slept better tightly swaddled at that age. He too only wanted to sleep while being held. Since he's only 3 weeks, you should still be taking it easy, too. Indulge yourself by sitting and holding him while he's sleeping or lay down and nap with him. He just wants to be close to you. ...

little house on the priarie ( bottle feeding) by AnnaS
Hmm, I rarely watch that show, but I did see one episode where Mrs. Ingalls was told by the doctor to switch the baby to (cows?) milk instead of nursing. She was sad, but did it because the doctor said to. Anna ted wrote:
