DD had her 6 month WBV this past Saturday...
17 pounds, 5 ounces!
25 inches long!
All on mommy milk. Thank you to everyone here for the support and
guidance...we literally could not have done it without this group.
Everything else went fine with the visit. DD is growing and developing
well. ...

14 mth old possibly self-weaning - where to from here? by
Cathy
Hi everyone, Just in case this nursing strike does signal the end of our 14
month long nursing relationship, what should I do next? DD will take cow's
milk with cereal, loves cheese and yoghurt (although the latter does nasty
things to her poos, so I don't give her it often) and likes custard...

Lily Parker - X Posted by
New York Jen
I cannot believe I forgot the exact sweet smell of new breath, the wrinkled
bluish hands and feet, the feeling of unquestionable love for this brand new
creature.
Lily Parker was born on Saturday, March 13 (her due date, prompt lil thing)
and weighed in at 7 pounds even. I'll post her birth story...

[ot] Q--Intro Beans/Legumes? by
Belphoebe
We have been following a solids sequence for allergic babies, since I have
mild asthma and DH and I both have seasonal allergies. DS is now a little
over 12 months, so we're going to be introducing another round of new foods.
I have what might be a stupid question about introducing beans and...

When I took my son in for his 2 month WBV, I had decided to give him the DTP
vaccine and to ask the ped's recommendation on HiB and Prevnar. She
convinced me to do both of those . . I don't know if I would still feel so
bad about the experience if it wasn't for what happened after she left...

question about return of fertility by
sher
I had my third baby in October and it is taking my body a lot longer
to get back to normal. With the other two, I went back to work at 3
months and was pumping twice a day. AF returned within two weeks and
was very regular after that. This time, I went back to work at 8
weeks. When I first went...

DS did a new thing yesterday. We were nursing, when suddenly, he unlatched,
threw back his head, and whistled several times. He was very deliberate in
forming his mouth in a whistling position. I whistled back, and he
responded in kind. A bit later, he was trotting around on the floor, and...

Am I doing the right thing (plugged duct)? by
DeliciousTruffles
Idiot me wore a too-tight bra for a full day and now my breasts are
sore. I am suspecting a partially plugged ducts. I have been pumping
every time I feel a bit full and also if Isabella hasn't nursed long
enough to take away that soreness. But now my supply is increasing
because of the added...

Use of Phenegan for long haul flight? by
Paradise News
We are going on a 30 hour trip, from New Zealand to the UK, with our 9 month
old next week. Many people have recommended using Penegan to help our
daughter adjust to the time zones (from NZ to LA will be her usual sleep
time, but from LA to UK will be night time in the UK - then we arrive at
10am...

Getting AF back after total weaning - any experiences with how long? by
Cathy
Instead of being miserable about DD possibly self-weaning (although I've had
a few good cries today - I am not ready for this to be over), I thought I'd
try and be postitive, and hope that I'll get AF back. Has anyone any
experience with how long it took to get AF back after finishing nursing? ...

Co-sleeping=more night wakings??? by
Jrogold
I would love some feedback.
We have co-slept with both of our two kids. Though, these days DH
sleeps with the 4 year old and I sleep with the baby in another room.
Constant colds and sleep issues have set this up for the last couple
of weeks so that we just don't sleep well all in the same...
