nine months and no solids! by
mamasays
Hi, have been feeding my son since birth (he is now nine months old)
and my question is - is there something wrong if he hardly accepts
solids? I fed my daughter - now aged 19 (!) until she was fifteen
months old, and never had this problem. Is it boy babies who are the
fussy ones?

Did you hate bf at first? by
[email protected]
Hello,
Is there anyone out there that hated breastfeeding at first? DD is 2
weeks old and I really hate breastfeeding. My anxiety starts to rise
about 1 hour before each feed because I know she's going to be hungry
soon. Every time she fusses the tears well up in my eyes because I
know what's...

Night weaning - 2yo? by
Manna
Anyone have any advice? I'm at my wits end. :(
I messed up. My son has always fallen asleep nursing, and we still
cosleep. Unfortunately, he has a BAD case of baby bottle tooth and is
about to lose one tooth and at least one other is beginning to decay.
My poor pretty baby with such an ugly...

Question from my dil (X-Posted) by
Marc
snip
Congrats grandma. :-)
There is 26 months between my two, and it is good. DD7 wasn't napping much,
but she did go to daycare a couple of days a week. You still have all things
you need, you haven't forgotten too much, the older can be helpful when
you're feeding, once the younger is moving...

New to newsgroup and motherhood by
Marce
Hello, I am a new mother of a 4 week old. I have been exclusively pumping
since she was 1 week. Currently, I am pumping approximately 3.5 ounces a
session. I am taking Blessed Thistle to try and raise this amount. I have
a Medela Pump in Style and pump for 15-25 minutes. I would like to try...

Considering some of the stupid comments extended nursers get from

Disappointment by

My cousin stopped breastfeeding her 5 month old daughter :o( Not a reason in
the world except her pediatrician said it was ok to stop if she wanted
to.(doesn't mean it's right imo) She was a sahm with tons of relatives to
take the baby whenever she wanted, never had a problem with...

how do you know if you are still producing milk? by
Marie
My daughter is almost 18 months old, and nurses pretty frequently
throughout the day but sleeps all night. I no longer wake up full, and
in fact the other day went from 4pm one day to 8am the next day with
no nursing, and I didn't feel full in the morning(that wasn't
intentional, I was on the phone...

I think it's funny, my milk still lets down minutes before my 10 month
old daughter wakes up! I don't remember it lasting this long with my

Marie
In my neverending quest to find *something* that will increase my milk
supply, I am currently taking: 80mg of domperidone/day, 16 capsules of
Fenugreek/day and 16 capsules of Blessed Thistle/day. SIGH All this, and
I'm still oly making *maybe* 1/2 of what I need for my twin boys. While...

My daughter will be 5 in October and has not nursed in about 4 days
now. Maybe it's 5 days, I didn't start keeping count til it was too
late to remember which day it was. She has only nursed at bedtime for
a few minutes for the past year.
I haven't particularly enjoyed bf with this child but I...
