Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine by sharalyns
What country are you in? I need to find the sheet of paper the pediatrician gave me, but I have info on how to get individual shots in the US. We are going that route as the Rubella vaccine has fetal cells in it, which my family is opposed to. We are also not getting Varicella vaccine at this time...

Tender belly button by Denise~*
It's stretched to its limit (pretty much) and the skin that is normally covered, is exposed & *really* sensitive. Just the brush of my 4 year olds finger hurts. Gaw, I wish there was a way to protect the tender skin around your belly button. On a positive note, I cleaned out all the dry skin &...

Talking with friend? (miscarriage mentioned) by xkatx
So, I gave my girl friend a call this morning and she sounded like she was dead to the world and sleeping, but she said she was just resting and it wasn't a problem to chat for a bit... She said that she spent Father's Day in the hospital... They were out and about, I guess, when she said around...

Surprise! u/s went just fine. I think I kinda did an update type thing in the above original thread. I did get the technician to write down what it is, and brought it home, tossed it up real high and when I got home from picking the kids up from my aunt's, DH was home. I told him what I did as...

Stuffy nose/can't breathe. Symptom or just allergy? by cjra
In the 1st and 2nd trimester I had a constant stuffed up nose. FInally went away. Every one said that was typical pregnancy symptom. Last week (37w) it came back in full force. Though I've suffered allergies in other places I've lived, I'm still not entirely sure what allergies I suffer locally....

Recommend someone at Brigham & Women's in Boston, MA? by Pologirl
To treat my baby's whatever-it-is, I have chosen Children's Hospital Boston (CHB), the Advanced Fetal Care Clinic (AFCC). AFCC sees 2-3 sacrococcygeal teratomas (SCTs) per year, which is not as many as CHOP or UCSF see, but it is orders of magnitude more than most perinatology practices see. ...

Vacation at 33 weeks??? by [email protected]
Hello, Any experience or opinions on this? I'm considering taking a week's vacation when I'm 33 weeks pregnant. We were thinking of going to a stay at the family cottage on the beach. It's a 6 hour drive. It's still in the same province so there are no health insurance issues. There's a...

First off, I do apologize if this is TMI... I just have a concern about a lump thing on the inside of my crotch... I remember while pg with DD, I found this small little lump on my crotch... It was located on my right side, about a finger width away from my leg joint, on my crotch. It didn't hurt...

Rib cage size after pregnancy? by Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward
Anyone know what happens to the rib cage after pregnancy? Judging by the way I no longer fit into my old clothes, mine seems to have expanded, and the tip of the sternum sticks out a little when I'm lying down, which it didn't use to do before. I'm four and a half months post-partum and wondering...
