It's a Wonderful Race
by James Bronson
There once was a college freshman named George who thought he knew it
all.
One night over dinner, George got into an argument with his father.
The
argument began when the young student tried to explain to his father
that as
White people, they should be held...

high chair replacement cover by
[email protected]
I got a hand-me-down high chair. The seat is all torn so I had to throw
it away. It's a Cosco. Is there a place I can buy just the replacement
cover for few bucks?
Has anyone done something like this?
Thanks.

What do toddlers around the world eat? by
[email protected]
I am a journalist from America, writing an article on what toddlers
(about 2 years old) around the world eat. For example: in America it's
chicken nuggets, cereal, hot dogs, etc.
I would like to know what moms outside of America feed their toddlers.
If you have any interesting and colorful foods,...

Question for short parents- any out there? by
Jenna&Keri's mom
Okay, I know that a million factors determine your child's height, but
humor me here, please. I am definately short, only 5'2" and my husband
is 5'9". My children are not even on the chart for height. My 3 year
old daughter is only 34 inches. At her age, I was 37 inches, and I
only turned out to be...

School Safety Drills, by any other name by
dejablues
We had a funny conversation at dinner with DS's 15, 12, and 7.
I can't remember what started it, but DS7 mentioned having a "weather
drill". I asked him what it was and he said that they all go into the
hallway and kneel against the wall, covering their heads. That's pretty
funny because here in SE...

Boiling by
Sarah Vaughan
At what age can my baby start having water or milk (cow's milk) that
hasn't been boiled first?
BTW - I know all the general cautions about using water or whole cow's
milk in babies. What I'd like to do, once he's about six months, is
give him a bit of water with his meals, and maybe sometimes use...

Sunshine
Warning - A little graphic....
A week ago today (last Wednesday) I had light bleeding. This should

earlier. I only noticed it on the toilet paper and it was pink. I
called the dr. and they said since I had no other symptoms (no...

Chosing a school (elementary) by
goofeegyrl
We live in an area where there are a lot of immigrants and therefore
the majority of kids at the local elementary are ESL kids. Since
Sophie does not fall into that category, I have some reservations that
she would thrive in a school that concentrates so much on the ESL
aspect. I have some other...

Weaning off the bottle by
ChitaShines
I need some guidance or advice on this. My 13 MO DD got the ok from the
doctor last month to start weaning off the bottle. Immediately I cut out 2
of her 4 bottles. She still gets a bottle before her nap and before
bedtime. I only give her whole milk from these bottles which equals 16
ounces...
