I think my belly button is going to pop by
Vicky Bilaniuk
I didn't think it would, because it's a very deep one. However, I can
see the bottom of it, and I've still got two months to go. The skin
sure has been sore! Eek! ;-)

Introduction by
Shawn M. J. Mann
Hi everyone,
My name is Shawn, my wife is Jodi. We live in Oregon.
This is my first newsgroup, so I'm kinda checking things out. We are
expecting our first child sometime in November. We went through a M/C a year
ago on May 15th, so hopefully things go better this time.

Which of these girl's names would you pick? by

Isabella, Lilly or Lucy. Which would you pick?
For me personally, I wouldn't use Lilly or Lucy, as out surname starts with
L. But with a different surname, I wouldn't know which to choose. You

Pap Smear And Ortho-Evra by
LRH
My wife has been on Ortho Evra for a year now. She just got renewed for
another year, although her gynocologist (sp?) apparently meant to only renew
for one month because they want her to have a "pap smear" before having her
use Ortho Evra for another year.
But as it stands turns out we can keep...

Ultrasound results by
Naomi Rivkis
Well, we went and saw the munchkin this morning! It looks loads more
like a baby than it did at the first ultrasound, and more to the point
they could examine it for all sorts of things. They conclusively ruled
out the spectre of spinal bifida, said there were no markers of
concern for Down's...

Hi all,
I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and have had a couple of days where I felt mildly
nauseous, but my breasts feel swollen and I'm very tired every day.
Is morning sickness necessarily a daily event or does it come & go? Is
having morning sickness for a couple of days & then it disappearing a...

summer festivities bring noise! by
Karen
Three suggestions: white noise machine, classical music, earplugs.
We use all three to get through the worst part of the summer, right
around 4th of July.
The earplugs are these squishy silicone things you get in a snap-close
plastic box with 6 pairs. You make them into a kind of pancake and...

name fights by
Vicky Bilaniuk
So, how do people deal with the seemingly totally unavoidable fights
that develop between two parents when it comes to naming their child? I
always had a sneaking suspicion that DH and I would have this problem,
and of course we've been having it ever since we first started talking
about names. ...
