Growth Questions by
Denise
DD #2 is 3 1/2. She is delayed in a lot of aspects, mostly gross motor
skills, fine motor and speech. Something that concerns me though, is that
she grows very very slow. In a year she grew less than an inch. She is now
31 inches tall and less than 30 pounds. She follows a growth curve, but...

childbirth without insurance by
1qa2ws
Hi,
I live in St. Louis (Mossouri). Do you know something about any
possibilities to birth a child without having any insurance? Maybe you know
if there is something similar to PCAp in NYC or MassHealth in MA in Missouri
state? We cannot buy any insuarce, becouse it is after conception.

Thomas the Train question by
CandyC
Does anybody know of what Thomas the train characters I can get that are not
part of a train, just stand alone trains that the kids can play with.
Looking on ebay, but it is hard to tell what is part of the train system or
not.
(Hoping some Thomas fans are reading.)
Thanks

My DD has been invited to a kids birthday party. Those ones like in

so does anyone have the actual data? by

Discussion tonight around various car safety topics. One part revolved a
lot about kids in front seats of cars that have air bags. Now, before you
pounce all over me telling me not to do that, let me tell you that there are
*loads* of web sites saying just that. But, for the sake of...

Olivier Assayas's DEMONLOVER is a convoluted mess that's underacted and

A sad commentary on teaching values... by
T.R.H.
We have always instilled in our kids the importance of good manners and
treating people with courtesy, good phone manners are especially important.
The other day my 12 yr old sons friend called, whom has little or no phone
manners at all and usually gives the standard "Is sons name there?,...

When is force necessary? by
M.E. Mitchell
I don't see anything wrong with letting the child see that you are angry (as
long as it's not out of control). Staying "cheerful" is like being a
Stepford Wife. You can be both angry and calm.
I don't think you did anything wrong. He will get the message when you
leave like abruptly like that. ...

Just a few tidbits of news of the Okies.
Not much out of the ordinary, really.

Delaware County as the sex crimes capitol of Oklahoma, of an 8 year
old girl working as the 'money bucket cashier' at the family's 'ho
