2nd child? by
jlstanleyNO$SPAM
I need some opinions of poeple about having a second child. My wife
really wants one and I understand why. It is nice to have someone to
play with and count on when they grow up. But here is my issue.
Bella my 21 month old is such a good kid and so loving and well behaved
it seems that the only...

2yo milestones by
Phoebe & Allyson
This is the 24 month questionnaire from the local health department. They
don't tell you what percent of 2yos can do what, but I know you can get 1 or
2 in an area marked "not yet" and still get a "your child is developing
normally" postcard, but if you only get one or two in an area marked...

2yo suddenly scared of poo'ing/weeing in the bath by
Antix
Hi,
I'm sure my wife could phrase this in a better way but our 2year old
boy has suddenly become scared of bath time because 2-3 days ago he
poo'd in the bath.Since then, He's always had the ability to make
himself sick on demand and he's done this 3 nights on the run around
bath time. We've tried...

2yr grunting for food by
Jennifer Howe
My almost 2 year old instead of saying she is hungry which she does say she
grunts and huffs and puffs. How do I break this we have stopped paying
attention to it because we see it as a negative attention getter but its
getting quite annoying.

2yr old "faking it" to get out of school? by
PumpkinMama
I'm feeling at a loss on this one so wanted to post for some advice.
DS, who is just 23mo. old was sick all weekend: fever for a couple days,
then sported a rash after fever broke. So I think Roseola, no big
deal. Monday he was much better, although still a bit clingy and
grumpy. Tues I had to...

2yr starting to hit by
Shelley
DS is 2 1/2 and DD just turned 1. In the last few months
he's been hitting her. He's been hitting kids at the
playground also.
What do I do to stop this? I put him in time-out each time
he hits his sister but that doesn't seem to work.
He's very possesive of a few of his toys so I'm working...

3 1/2 year-old with dry stuffy nose, snoring, apnea by
Jim Beaver
My 3 1/2 year-old daughter has a perpetually stuffy nose, though it's almost
never a runny nose. She sleeps with her mouth open 90% of the time,
snoring, and showing signs of apnea if she tries to breathe through her
nose. Her doctor put her on an antihistamine for a while, and it had...

3 1/2 yo and day camp by
Shelley
Good day everyone,
Today is DS' first day at a week long day camp and it has not gone so
great so far. When we left he seemed OK but they called 1 1/2 hours
later to say that he had a major crying fit that got the other kids
crying too. They got him calmed down but he pretty much refused...

3 1/2 yo girl potty problem by
Kathy
Hi--
Our dd (age 3 1/2) has been stopping the flow of urine half way through
going...then she says she can't go anymore and holds it until the next
time she uses the potty. Sometimes she will empty her bladder fully at
that time, and other times she will stop the flow again and hold it...

3 mo standing supported by
toypup
Is it bad for their legs? I've heard it was because their bones are soft
and not meant to support the weight of their body. Not sure if it's just an
old wives' tale. DD loves it, but we don't do it too much because we're not
sure if it's a problem. Is there any good source on this? I'd do it...

3 month old sleep questions by
Abi
Hi,
my daughter is just over 3 months. She sleeps at night from about 9pm
to 7.30am but awakes for a feed at 4am every night. At this time she
will only feed for about 10 minutes (as opposed to about 30 minutes
for day time feeds). My question is , what age will she or should she
stop having this...

3 week road trip with a 5 month old - is it a good idea? by
[email protected]
My wife & I live in France and are considering a 3 week vacation to
California, this time seeing yosimite, the sequoias, and other national
parks, maybe grand canyon, possibly Las Vegas on the way. But we're
not sure about traveling with our baby. We'd go in May, so she'd be 5
months old. I'm...

3 y.o. behavior-ugh! by
mom2fallbabies
My Aaron has always been a high-maintenance, fussy sort of guy. He has
had some developmental delays (speech and motor skills) due to low
muscle tone. Dh and I feel like this caused his fussiness as a baby
and younger toddler. He has some mild sensory issues as well. And the
speech delay made him...

3 y/o cousin is a devil child by
Mike S.
Every couple of months my aunt and uncle ask me to babysit their 3 y/o
son so they can get a day to themselves. Everytime I babysit my cousin,
he gives me nothing but problems. First, a little background info about
him. He's an only child and he spends most of his time watching tv and
playing video...

3 year birthday present ideas? by
Irene
Ds will be turning 3 in a few weeks, and I have no idea what to get
him, not to mention giving ideas to relatives (who are starting to ask
- I don't suggest gifts to people who aren't asking!) It seems like
he has most things already, and since we've already been letting him
play with things with...

3 year old "defiant" behaviour by
jojo
My little guy is 3....going on 13.
He is advanced (I HATE that label) but he is..more on the 4-5 level.
He started prek this year and has done excellent. He genuinely loves school!
It is not stressful, but it is structured. Something he does very well with.
So...the problem.
This formally sweet,...
