New pregnancy - "help"! by anyone4tea
Hi everyone, I'm a brand new pregnant mother-to-be and am feeling a little out of my depth. I'm 33 years of age, have only been with my husband for 2 months (We married in May in the UK, I then moved over to be with him in September). Two days ago after a strange craving for tacos on Sunday...

Ever heard of a uterus "popping"? by anyone4tea
I think it was Larry who told me that this happens. I was laying on my front in an awkward position and all of a sudden had this strange movement in my uterus area. I could feel something large move, and dramatically so. It wasn't painful, but discomfort and a little shocking. Since then, I...

Nausea gone at 13 weeks... by anyone4tea
and it's WONDERFUL!!! Wow! What a revelation! It's been gone since Wednesday and, boy, do I feel relieved. I can now eat as normal. I hope others' nausea ends as early as mine did. The nausea has gone... to be replaced immediately with a very pooched-out belly.

OB/GYN or midwife? by anyone4tea
Or can I have both? I have an OB/GYN but I have heard from other mothers that they only come in at the end of the labor (ie the birth! :D). However, it seems that midwives are present throughout the labor. Is this right, and would I be able to have both a midwife and an OB/GYN? I have a PPO...

Possibly TMI - NON-CONSERVATIVE LADIES ONLY!!! by anyone4tea
Hi girls, I'm 8.5 weeks right now and I have a question that people may not want to hear. If you're conservative please stop reading now! OK, here's the question. If one has 'O', is it normal to have something that seems like a Braxton Hicks contraction? It was a bit painful!!

Nausea - an update by anyone4tea
Well, it seems that there are several triggers to my NVP. Having discovered them, things really seem to have improved immensely. 1) Orange juice 2) Toothpaste 3) Flossing my teeth. 4) Cheese Pasta definitely seems to go down well, as do ham sandwiches (ham cooked at home), boiled eggs and toast.

OK guys, I had 8 hours of interviews with a company before I got pregnant and then they jerked me around and didn't offer me a job. (I am not working right now). They contacted me today and want me to go for an informal chat with one of their directors to put the finals on getting me a high...
