7weeks nursing - I'm starving! by
teapot
Breastfeeding has not been the get thin magic I expected. I am as fat
as a hippo and hungry all the time. I feel like nothing ever fills me
up, and I am going for stuff like pasta and potatos that used to do
the trick. Moo is still feeding all the time but I have adjsuted my
attitude and just...

8 month (ish) roll call by
teapot
I can't believe it's been 8 months already, what happened to all that
time? How many gallons of milk do you think we have produced?
Moo has 2 teeth but has only bitten me a couple of times when I wanted
to unlatch him. He does this horrible mangling thing on my mipple
when he is teething and I...

8 month check by
Anne Rogers
Nathanael had is 8 month check today. Everything seems to be fine, he
weighed 6.62kg (still below 0.4th centile) and his head circumference was
45cm (haven't checked that).
We need to get a urine sample from him as he's had some more episodes of
blood in his urine. We also have to take him to the...

8 month old nursnig frequently by
sharonx9
My baby girl is 8 1\2 months old. She co sleeps with me and always has, I
prefer it. (TMI)...I sleep with no shirt so it's easier to nurse her, but
here's my problem. She wants to stay latched almost constantly. She seems
to wake every hour or so to nurse. We both just fall back to sleep but...

8 months + - question on frequent nursing :) by
FayeC
So here I am...still bfing :))))))
I never expected to bf for so long specially having had a failed bf'ing
attempt with my first son (long story, NICU baby, nipple confusion,
mastitis, lack of support, etc...) so I took one day at a time with my baby
girl and althogh we had a very rough start...

8-month Roll Call! by
Belphoebe
Hey, I can't let teapot and her crew have all the fun, now can I? :P
My little bug just turned eight months today, and I can't believe the time's
going so fast. Who else has an eight-month old? Offhand, I can think of
two: ted and FayeC. Who else have we got, and how are you doing?
DS crawls...

9 month ish roll call by
teapot
Moo boy is asleep in my lap after a good feed so excuse typos.
Nights are on and off, more off than on as he has just cut a top tooth
and has a cold. I tried to cut down on night feeds but as he is not
feeling well I am back to on demand, every 3 hrs last night which is
an improvement. 'This...

9 month update by
Rebecca Jo
Alexander had his 9 month appointment today & his shot. They checked his
iron levels & they were good. :)
He doesn't crawl yet but he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks
sometimes. He pulls himself around with his forearms (army crawl) and pushes
with his toes. He pulls himself standing and...

9 month wbv by
Phoebe & Allyson
Our pediatrician's office called yesterday, to remind us of an appointment
we weren't aware we'd made - apparently the ditzy receptionist had her March
calendar open when we were making an April appointment. (We'd shifted
scheduling so Caterpillar could get her osteopathic manipulation at the...

9 months, no teeth by
oregonchick
Emily is now 9 months. She eats everything she can get her hands on. She's
happy and healthy, but has no teeth. Not even a hint of a tooth. Is this
abnormal, or just part of the varying degree of "normal"?
Also, she still only weighs 17 lbs, despite her good eating. I'm not
concerned, but...

9 week old sleeps 8 hours...okay for supply? by
Kathy
Hi,
I apologize in advance to those of you who will say "Gee...what a
problem...your baby sleeps for eight hours straight. Try having the
opposite problem!". Actually, I know what that's like too...DD#1 seemed
to only sleep for 15 minutes at a time for the first several months of
her...

? about pumping at work by
jake's mom
Hi all,
I return to work on Friday(Boo hoo). DS will be 20 weeks old and Bf is
going great--got off to a rough start though. I want to pump at work so DS
doesn't have to have any formula and so my supply won't dwindle. He only
eats from one breast at a feeding now so is it safe to assume that I...

A "gassy" baby? by
Engram
Well, I've finally had the baby and she's just over 3 weeks old and
breastfeeding like a champion. Things are going pretty well for us, except
that in the evenings she becomes quite unsettled and appears to have a lot
of what I can only describe as "gas".
She becomes unsettled around 7:30 pm...

A 6-hour feed? (long, sorry) by
Cheryl S.
I know it's normal for babies to feed continuously for a couple hours in
the evening. DD did that, usually from about 7:00 to 10:00 every
evening. I wouldn't have a problem with that. DS had been doing that,
but over the past few days it's been getting longer and longer -
starting earlier and...
