Sorry to sound like a (long) broken record by
Vijay
Hi, it's me again. Mrs. Low Supply. I am seriously bumming. I just
googled Fenugreek and domperidone on this group and all of the posts
are like, "I noticed an increase within hours!" I was totally engorged
two days later!"
What is wrong with me??? I have been taking domperidone and fenugreek
for...

The latest problem by
Vijay
Hi.
For those of you who have been following my breastfeeding problems, I
am still supplementing with formula. I had hoped to have DD back to
the breast by now, but at 4.5 months she has developed some weird
habits that are making it nearly impossible to nurse her. I've been
trying and trying but...

How much did you take? by
Vijay
Hi.
I am desperate to stop giving DD formula and am taking Domperidone,
Fenugreek, and Blessed Thistle. How much is okay to take? I am taking
1 Domperidone, 2 Blessed Thistle, and 4 Fenugreek every 6 hours. I
don't notice it, but DH says I smell like maple syrup, which is
supposed to mean you're...

Men and breastfeeding by
Victor
I was looking around for the thread to latch on to (no pun intended), and I
figured this was probably the best one.
In 1988 my wife had a baby girl (her third, my second). Like our previous
daughter, we decided she'd be breastfed. Unlike with the previous daughter,
however, this time I lactated. I...

Blood found in pumped milk - Please Help! by
Victor
My wife has been breastfeeding our first son for 4 1/2 months so far.
She started working about 2 months ago and has been pumping out breast
milk since then. A week ago, she noticed some blood in the pumped
milk, which makes about 3 ounces of milk displaying a pink color. This
happened again two...

Intro and solids question by
Vicky Larmour
Hi all,
I've posted in various places before so I guess a few of you know me
already but for those that don't, hello :-) We're in Cambridge, UK
and my DS Matthew is a bit over 7 months old now (how time flies).
He's been exclusively bf-ed until he started on solids just before
six months of...

say what to toddler about nursing pain? by
Vicki S
My daughter is almost 23 months old now, and I am 19 weeks pregnant.
Sometimes, nursing her hurts. As a result, I pretty much only nurse
her to sleep. (I did nurse her today after another kid knocked her
down, but that's rare these days.)
Tonight I was nursing her to sleep and it hurt enough...

Want some (free) Ameda replacement white valves? by
Vicki S
Hi everyone,
I used a pump fairly often with my oldest as I was working part time
and did a lot of evening meetings and stuff. But when my second was
small I quit my job and a few months later I dusted off my pump and
donated it to Goodwill. I don't need to pump anymore and I don't miss
it! But...

test, please do respond by
Vicki S
Hi! I wasn't getting anything through so I asked my ISP for help and
they think they may have fixed whatever was broken. If you see this
original post, would you respond to the newsgroup? I would really like
if any/many people see this.
Thank you!

speaking of studies by
Vicki S
My dear mother oh so kindly mailed me a newspaper article about an
anti-cosleeping study published in The Lancet, which I understand to
be a highly respected British medical journal. Has anyone seen this
study? Is it a decent study, a lousy one, somewhere in between? I
threw away the article in...

i subscribe to http://fun.adviceby.com/, which is a daily email

a "motivational story". I liked today's story enough to share it. I
hope no one minds.

my daughter is 16 months old now, and her latch has gone really, really
bad. no matter how i work to get her to open her mouth up wide to latch
on, she closes her teeth onto my nipple and seems to rest her top teeth
in my skin. i was toughing it out but i realized recently that my left

CTTD and S by
Vicki S
I walked back into the living room from getting some OJ for DS, and I
saw DD with one arm in her sweatshirt, the other arm coming out of the
neck, and an enormous (well, on her) army/bucket hat on her head. I
couldn't see her face at all. She pulled the hat off, grinned at me,
and said...

anyone else use fat as BC? by

just sort of wondering about this: does anyone else (here, someone you
know, your sister, whatever) use body fat as birth control? and yes, i
mean i am using being overweight as a method of birth control, and no, i
don't mean my husband thinks i'm gross and doesn't want to have sex as a
result. ...

allergies, food, 14 months old by
Vicki S
I have been wondering about a few foods.
Oops! I forgot to mention that she is still breastfed several times a
day - usual schedule would be: first thing in the morning, to fall
asleep for her nap, to go to sleep at night, and 3 or 4 times a night.
I also don't know when I can start eating...
