Car Seats? by
Christine
I hear car seats can be a real bugger to figure out....I didnt see too
many directions with the car seat, but it is still in the box, maybe
there are good directions in there somewhere... I bought a
=91=91evenflo=92=92 regular car seat instead of the carrier that comes
with a stroller....the...

update by
lucy-lu
Hi all
Just wanted to say sorry I've ignored so many posts - Rob (dh) was made
redundant when Jessie was 6 days old (not unfair dismissal btw - 50% of
the company's gone :/ ), so things have been a bit hectic.
OTOH, Life with Jessica could't be better. I still can't believe she's
here, or that...

Spoilers by
Amy
I've noticed that here posts are spoilered for miscarriage, in case they
upset the pregnant mothers. Having lost a son, I also post on a board where
posts are spoilered for pg and l/c (living children) so as not to upset the
grieving mothers. I'm not too sure where I belong sometimes.
It's a...

When did your Baby drop ? by
melbgal1
2weeks to go, yet we're riding as high as ever.
I'd like to hear from some naturally-labouring mums that didn't drop
until the very last minute or so :)

Epidural Question by
Chookie
I know from personal experience that epidural anaesthesia lowers blood
pressure. Recently, however, a friend asked me how that occurred, and I have
no idea. Does anyone know by what mechanism epidurals lower BP?

amazed! by
Plissken
I just watched Baby Story on TLC and watched an OB deliver twins vaginally!
The first one was head down the second breach and both delivered vaginally.
I was quite pleasantly surprised especially this being a US show and given
the high rate of c-sections in the US. The father was Larry Joe Campbell...

Here's to a healthy and happy 8 (or maybe 7) remaining months :-)
Thanks! The ultrasound said I am now 7 weeks, 5 days. I am "due"
September 4, 2004. From my history, I rather expect to have the baby
between the 21st and the 28th of August. (Now watch me go two...

35 weeks by
Sophie
Can you believe it already??
Had my appointment today. Was surprised to be re-tested for GBS today.
Apparently since Lewis (Dec 2001) things have changed. I tested + with
Patrick so I was treated as if I was + with Lewis, even though he was a
c-section. The Dr today said chances are they won't...

I remember writing to Ana to comfort her about fear of delivery. I

FAO CY - reducing older sib jealousy by

Hi -
We found it helpful to put our older child in charge of certain

when the new baby arrived. Our older son was in charge of teaching

OK, get your bets in now! by
Engram
Not that I'm due or anything, but I'm having my so-called 19 week scan
(which is actually going to happen in week 21 due to the pregnancy/gestation
weekly count stuff up). I'm planning on finding out if it's a boy or girl
and would be happy to share the info :)
The U/S is on Thursday, 8am GMT +10...

So many wonders! by
xkatx
Well, well!
It's been a little while for me... DD is now 4 months old and boy does time
fly!
She's been sleeping a good 10-12 hours at night - in one shot - for about a
month now. Before that, it was about 7-8 hours starting at about 2 months
of age and was sleeping 5-7 hours at night from the day...
