Ticking biological clock no longer just for women
Gentleman, the biological clock may toll for thee, as well. New
findings released yesterday by separate American and French research
teams indicate that a man's age can compromise his fertility -- a
concern that has long plagued women.

cjra
Had my homevisit and 36 week appt last night and all is well :). Heart
beating strongly, BP still good, baby still in position although this
time he/she was straight, like a torpedo aiming to head out..... he/she
has been head down for ages.
I hadn't planned a waterbirth, only because I figured...

Pregnancy guilt (miscarriage mentioned) by
Engram
I was going to post this in one of the pregnancy loss newgroups but seems
all of them have a readership of zero. At least on my news server they do. I
know that people here have been through similar predicaments. I hope this is
alright... So here it is:
A friend of mine was pregnant and due the...

Normal heart rate? by
xkatx
Normally, my heart, I think, is beating at about 80ish bpm...
Lately, though, actually a few times today, it seems to have gone just wild
and about an hour and a half ago, I counted and it was 118bpm... Just now,
it was at 126bpm.
Anyone know what a normal heart rate should be? I feel like this...

I'm thinking of you and hope all is going well. Haven't seen a post from
you since you posted about the clot. If little Isabelle had to make her
arrival, I hope all is well with both you and her!!

misc.kids old timers (crossposted) by
UpMama
I lurked here and posted occasionally beginning in 1999 and also
frequented some other AP email lists. I am trying to figure out if
there are archives for some of the AP lists from that time (1998 -
2003). More specifically, I would love to know about the development
of the babywearing and sling...

good news.....maybe!! by
Clair Pepper
Hi all
I did a home pregnancy test a few days ago and 2 lines showed up. 1 line was
really dark and the other was a lot more faint, almost hardly visible (but
definitely there!) Does this mean that I am pregnant?
Thanks
Clair

Since rev. jack has come along and been annoying, your post has been a lot
further from being read on most screens, so you may not have notice that
Lady Penelope ..... appeared and posted, she gave web addresses of the two
midwives, who sound very experienced, definitely worth contacting,...

OT, but worried: Infant coughing/snorting by
carlye
Hey all. If you have any advice or experience, I'd appreciate it if
you shared.
Last Saturday, when Hale was a day old, the ped noticed he made a funny
sound when breathing in while he was crying. I can't remember the word
the doctor used, but to me, the sound is like a "snort." He mentioned
it...

My little one has arrived! by
carlye
Hale is here!
The vital statistics: Hale was born at 2:57 p.m. on 6/2/06, and was 9
pounds 3 ounces, and 21 1/2 inches long.
For a number of reasons, we opted for an induction on Friday, June 2.
I checked in at 7:30 a.m. and was given a quarter dose of cytotec
around 8 a.m. It had my dilated to...

Isabelle is Here! by
Alana
I last posted a message about my concern of a clot passed while on
bedrest in the hospital with complete placenta previa. A few hours
after my post, I awoke to extreme hemmorhaging (nurses said over a unit
in a minute- it was insane!). They immediately rushed us into the
Operating Room, and...

Helping Daddies by
.oO rach Oo.
I will preface this by saying my husband is the best when it comes to
helping. He is right there to diaper or feed or play with Holly whenever he
can.
My little issue is with when she cries. She usually just fusses and cries
hard core only once in a while. When she does, I feel like I am going to...

2 month well visit by
Nikki
Well we had our two month visit. The boys are doing great! Brock is 14lbs
2oz and 24 inches while Ben is 11lbs 9oz and 23.5 inches. They each had
three shots. Brock was ticked off royally about the whole thing. Ben took
it a little better. He was really sleepy so went back to sleep...

Letter from the lab?? by
xkatx
Alright, I bent and went for that triple screen maybe a week or two ago.
I checked the mail and there was a letter in there, so after opening it up,
it says this:
Results of prenatal rubella blood tests
We received a laboratory report of testing that was done as part of your
prenatal...
