whats on your fenugreek bottle? by
azure
Hi all,
I take "Nature's Own", the only brand I've found fenugreek in capsule form.
The blurb says it's
"an expectorant, .. helping to eliminate excess mucous, assisting in getting
relief from the symptoms of hayfever, sinusitis, catarrh and colds ... helps
maintain a healthy skin through a...

a cold, allergies, or just teething? by
DavesFatChick
My son got his first tooth on Oct 10 and was pretty much fine with it.
However, yesterday he started getting now-so-well (I don't want to say sick
since he's not too bad).
He has a runny nose with clear mucous, his eyes are red and watery and he has
little dark circles underneath them, and he had...

Hales lookup please! by
Amy M.
Could someone with a copy of Hale's please tell me if Advair (for asthma) is
safe while breastfeeding. My doctor is of no help at all. He's never heard of
Dr. Hale (@@) and thinks the only tool of reference is the PDA! UGH!
Thanks!

Question about lochia by
Judy King
Hello, just a quick question. My lochia stopped completely at about ten days
post partum. The a few days later it started up again as heavy as a period.
It bleeds for a few hours then stops. The weird thing is while I bleed I
feel really low and weepy, cry most of the time for no reason and have...

2 oz cup? by
Rosie
Does anywhere sell a 2 oz sippy cup or similar?
I'm so tired of putting 4 oz of stuff into DD's cup only to have her refuse
all of it. If I put 2 oz in, she can't work out how to drink it.
It's costing me a fortune in prune juice. :)
It would also be perfect for ebm - seems like a real gap in...

My Zoloft saga by
zeldabee
I've posted here about the fact that I've been seeking some kind of help
for PPD (or maybe just depression, whether it's necessarily post-partum or
not). I was on a medication that wasn't compatible with BF (Doxepin) until
I was about 7.5 months pregnant, and stopped taking it specifically so...

Ann Landers advice for NIP by

I was reading Ann Landers yesterday and they had a lady write in because NIP
upset her. Here is the column....
Dear Annie: I recently attended a baby shower for my niece, who had a baby
last month. There were 25 women in attendance, ranging in age from 6 to 89.
While my niece was in Lamaze...

little weight gain between 8 months and 1 year by
Rosie
Should I be worried about this....
DD has only put on 4 oz in the last FOUR MONTHS!
I've not had her weighed for AGES but we were at the dieticians a couple of
weeks ago and she weighed and measured her.
Her height has gone up from below the 0.3% (we're a SHORT family!) to the
9th and her weight...

Solo pumping possible? by
Slave
Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possible to breastfeed via pumping only? How would
that effect the supply if one only pumps into bottles? Isn't there some
important aspect of breastfeeding with the baby on skin to skin that
increases supply? I am battling this question with my SIL. She...

black coloring inside pump tubes by
ted
I noticed there are two patches of black color inside my PIS tubes. Is
this mold? I tried to wash it with water, soap and alcohol but it's
still there. I've stopped using those tubes since I found it. Is there
a way to clear them out or should I just get rid of the tubes and buy
new ones?
thanks.
